Chapter 23 || Expedition

"I'm scared." You tell Ymir while changing into your uniform, "Don't worry. You are in squad Levi. I heard everyone else joined the Survey Corps too. They're useless and I'll probably die but who cares. Only if you're safe." You nod slowly and change more quickly. Mikasa walls out the door.

You sigh, while Captain Erwin lectures everyone about staying safe and following the formation. Jean grabs your hand, you smile at him. "Right. SHINZOU WO SASAGEYO!" He yells, everyone salutes and runs to there horses, they then wait outside the walls, you sigh and get ready as the gate lifts. "GO!" Erwin yells, everyone rushes in and lets out there battle cries, "RUSH IN!" Someone says, "10 METER!" You turned your head but Oulo grabbed your head and turned ir around. You nodded and continued to go in the path.

"Split!" Levi yells, you follow the formation and move to the left with Mikasa and Ymir. You all continue to ride until you see a black flare, "I-Isn't that a variant?" You say, trembling in your words. "Yeah." Ymir says with a straight face, Mikasa takes out her flare and points it up. Ymir grabs her hand and pulls it down, she wrinkles her nose at her. "Don't waste your flare on that, it stands out the most." She nods and continues to ride. You put your head forward and squint your eyes, seeing a titan running near you, you stop your horse and stare. Ymir tugs on your shirt, "Oi, lets go." Your eyes widen even more as it runs faster towards you. You yell as it reaches you, it ignores Mikasa and Ymir and grabs you, Mikasa gets off her horse and slices it's hand off, but it crystalized right as it did that. Her blade broke so she used her other one. The titan quickly stored you in it's mouth, you suddenly passed past out. "(F/N)!! Ugh! That mindless piece of shit-" Ymir says as she gets blocked off in her words, "It's not mindless. It's intelligent" She says maneuvering towards it, she sliced it's nape but the titan crystalized again. It grabbed Mikasa's 3DMG and threw her to a tree, "(F/N)! NO!" She yelled wincing, trying to get up. Ymir pulled her down though, "Quit it. She's too fast." Mikasa gets up and grabs Ymir's jacket, "My life is dedicated to Eren and (f/n). If you ever get in my way I will slaughter you like I'm gonna slaughter that titan." Ymir furrows her eyebrows, "Kuh? But Mikasa. You can't even catch up to that thing, even if your life depended on it-" She mentions, being blocked off. "Saving (f/n) is basically my life. I will do whatever it takes just to kill that titan and get (f/n) back. Even if it breaks the formation" Ymir nods and helps her down, they both go on there horses and follow it. Mikasa jumps off and lands on it's shoulder. It ignores her and runs faster, Fuck that titan.

Ymir mumbles, pulling on her horse so it would go faster. Mikasa attempts to cut it's jaw opened but it covers it's jaw with it's hands, she continuously stabs the hand, she then goes to stab it's eyes but it quickly flicks Mikasa off her shoulder. Ymir quickly flies up and grabs her waist, then throwing her on her horse, "It's no use." Ymir whispers.

Your P.O.V

.. My head hurts. I slowly open my eyes and figure im in a titans mouth, I freak out for a second, but I then take out my blades and attempt to cut it's jaw open so I can get out. The titan quickly opens it's mouth, I try to get out but it bites my hand. It hurt like hell, I started to cry and scream. Looking at the amount of blood falling out, I see steam flow from it. I quickly jump as I see half of my hand regenerating, I then get memories of someone who saved me. But I don't remember who it is, I sigh and look at my hand. Which is almost completely healed.

The titan probably felt the steam, I felt it stop for a second. It was strange how my hand regenerated, but I should be thankful about the fact that I didn't lose a hand, I wonder what Mikasa and Ymir were up to.

Narrators P.O.V

Ymir looked at Mikasa and tilted her head to where the titan was, "Oi. Mikasa, it stopped." She nods and quickly gets up, cutting it's jaw opened and grabbing you, the titan finally notices and turns around. "Ymir! Take (f/n) and run. I'll deal with this!" Mikasa yells as she throws you at her, your eyes slowly opened as Ymir sees you. "Ah. You're awake. We have a titan chasing us by the way." She says riding faster, you look at your hand. "My hand was bit off but it emitted steam and regenerated." You said jumping onto your horse, her eyes widened at your words.

"(f/n). You're a titan."
