Chapter 6 || Training

You woke up in the morning to the sound of a cadet screaming. You immediately jump up and run out of the room, the sound was coming from the mess haul so you run there, you spot Sasha Braus screaming because Connie took her last piece of bread. "CONNIE WHY IN THE WORLD DID YOU DO THAT!" Sasha said with tears streaming down her face, she was having a complete freak out. As you walk back to your room, you run into Jean. He noticed you are still in your pajamas. "You gonna change your outfit (f/n)?"

Jean says with a chuckle, you rub the top of your head and say "I don't know. I want to sleep more." he strokes his hand down your hair, then says "It feels like you have a giant blob on your head. Have you ever heard of a hair comb?" You flinch and playfully punch his shoulder, chuckling with him. He smiles, then says "It's nice to see you again.." you hug him. You then pull away and go to the girls dormitory thing place (lmao) to change your outfit. You walked outside just to see Jean waiting for you.

"Ladies man, aren't you Jean?" You said as Jean started to blush, you both walked to the breakfast table and split up, just to sit with other friends, you sat with Armin, Mikasa, and Eren. Jean sat with Marco, Annie, Bertholdt, and Reiner. "Hey Armin, remember the time we all had to save you" You said laughing along with Eren, Mikasa just grinned while Armin sat there disappointed. "(f/n) that was the old days. I'm stronger now" Armin said with a big smile, "I can't wait to graduate." Eren says with an enthusiastic voice, "I'll be on top of the score board."

It was finally training, you were doing 'anti-shank techniques', well, thats what you liked to call it. You were partnered up with a boy named Marco. You usually saw him hang out with Jean, "Ready? I'm not going easy" you said smirking, as Marco gave off an awkward grin. You made the first move and tried to punch him, he dodged and teased you by putting the shank in the front of your face, you attempted to grab it as he grabbed your wrist and flipped you over on the ground, you grimaced in pain as he said with a worried expression

"IM SORRY (f/n)! I GOT VIOLENT BECAUSE I THOUGHT YOU CHALLENGED ME-" You hushed him in the middle of sentence, slowly getting closer to him, he blushed as you kicked his ankle. He fell and you grabbed the shank. "Gotcha!" You said laughing hysterically as he smiled at you. You leaned your hand towards him as he grabbed it and got up. "Well, you got me there" He said patting his own head, it was your turn. You grabbed the shank and waved it around.

He then suddenly grabbed it as if it was nothing at all, your eyes widened as you fell to the ground and covered your face with your hands, "I AM A DISGRACE!" You screamed as Marco gave off his worried expression again. He patted your head to comfort you as you purred. He cringed then started laughing, you laughed with him. You finally got up and said "Wanna eat now" He shrugged his shoulders, "I'm gonna see if I can beat up Jean now." You nodded and you both went separate ways.

You sat under the shade and started drinking from your large leather-container of water, wiping the sweat off your head. Jean spotted you and he sat next to you, putting his arm over your shoulders, making you blush. You sat up and looked at him, as he looked back at you. "Jean, you know I'll still protect you from people even tho-" you said as you were blocked off in your words by Jean. "Nope. To return the favor from when we first met, I shall protect you, princess (n/n)" He said smirking. You blushed at him then looked back down at the floor.

"Jean, I never told you this, but your mom used to tell me to take care of you" You said smirking, he furrowed his eyebrows and said "Kuh? Well.. I shouldn't care. I could take care of myself now anyway." You laugh and drink more of your water, as you finish, Jean grabs the leather container then starts to drink it. You pout and playfully nudge his shoulder. "Hey Jean.. I was kind of.. planning to join the Survey Corps" He smiles and holds you tighter, "Well. Marco and I are joining with you."

He said with a relaxing voice. You both watched the sun set, as you turned around slowly you saw Connie and Sasha giggling at you both, trying to contain their laughter. "H-Hey C-Connie.. pFFt.. THEIR IN LOVE! BUAHAHAH" Sasha said with a groggily voice, Jean turned around just to see them too, he gave them the evil stare as they continued to laugh. "BUHAHHAHAHAH!! JEAN IS TRYING TO SCARE US!" Connie said bursting with laughter, you walked away with a frustrated aura.

You walked inside of the Mess Haul, soup again? You thought in your mind. You sat down on an empty table, in fact, the whole place was empty. You looked outside the window to see everyone training, and some people just having a good time talking. You sighed and continued to eat, just as you finished your soup, you went to grab your bread so you turned your head around, but instead of the bread, you spotted Sasha eating it. "So Sasha. You gotta death wish, huh?" Sasha slowly let down your bread and started running. You got up and starting chasing her.

"YOU'RE NOT GETTING AWAY FROM THIS YOU FOOD THEIFT! BAKA-" You screamed as you tripped over a rock, you were about to fall on your face as you felt something pull your hair, preventing you from falling down. "OW!" You screamed once again as the person pulled you back up, you turned around just to see that it was a girl with brown hair, which was in a ponytail with freckles who had saved you. "Ack. Be more careful" She said as she let go of your hair. "The names Ymir"

She said with a straight face. You squinted your eyes and said "(f/n)" She smirked as you said that, "You know, you do owe me this for this, right?" You cringed and immediately jumped away from her arms. Ymir frowned as you did that, "Awe. Why did you do that, we were having so much fun" She said. You sighed and yelled "I do NOT, hear me out, NOT, owe you anything. You're the one who saved me, I didn't ask you too." She flipped her hair at your statement, she went closer to your face and then said,

"Listen. You WILL, be my new Krista."
