Chapter 13 || Titans

You waited on the roof of a house. Constantly poking your ribs, it gave you pain, but for some reason you liked it. You sighed and laid down, Reiner finally came. He sat down next to you and put you up. He smiled and put an arm around your shoulders, you blushed and fidgeted with your fingers. "You've killed humans before, huh?"

He mentioned as he looked back into your eyes, you nodded and looked down. Hoping not to ruin the moment, you started to hear him whisper, 'I've got to marry her.' You slowly nodded and hugged him. Feeling as if you felt safe around him.

Reiner's P.O.V

Augh. Crap. She probably feels safe around me.. but whats gonna happen when she figures out? I love her of course. But will she hate me eventually.. ugh. I'll never have a chance, she likes Jean anyways.

She probably likes Ymir a bit too, I'm fine with bisexual people. Sigh, anyways, that weird titan that kills other titans is a titan shifter, when we figure out who he is, we have to take him back to his home town. We obviously have to take (f/n) too, but for now, we blend in and wait.

Narrators P.O.V

You quickly flailed your arms and jumped up as you saw Ymir, causing Reiner to fall and hit his head against the roof. Causing him to pass out and slowly slip down, you quickly ran down and grabbed his arm. But right as you did that, you felt someone grab your waist and pull you away. He easily slipped down while you screamed, the person who was holding you laughed and quickly ran to grab Reiner's hand, heavy. She thought slowly coming up and examining his face.

"Ymir! You could've killed him for christs sake!" She nods and puts him on your lap. She smiles and looks at you in the eyes. "You almost died earlier." She adds, now with a straight face, you out your elbow on Reiner's chest, forgetting that Reiner was still there. His eyes widened as he cringes. You quickly lift your arm off your chest and give off a worried expression. He blushes as he looks up at you, Ymir stands up and laughs. Reiner stands up and shakes your hand. "Huh?" you mention as he avoids eye contact, "Sorry if talking to you was pointless. Bye."

He exclaims walking away, you sigh and sit down with Ymir next to you. You quickly maneuver around the town, searching for people. You turn your head and see a titan. For some reason, your eyes widened in horror as you saw this titan. He grabbed you.

Screaming, you quickly stab it's neck. It smiles and puts you half way through it's mouth. You start to cry, you turn your head around and see Bertholdt whose watching in fear, he quickly goes and slices it's hand off, but it was too late. The titan put you in his mouth, hole. Bertholdt cuts it's jaw open and quickly grabs your hand, your legs are trembling as he pulls you out, he gets his legs bitten.

He squints his eyes but quickly gets you out. You both get thrown onto the roof. The titan smiles widely and walks away. Steam emitted from Bertholdt's leg, you wrinkled your nose at one point but ignored it. You turned your head once again and saw Jean who dropped his blades. He quickly carried you away, bridal style. "BERTHOLDT!"

You yell, he nods and lays down sighing. You thought his leg was slowly healing again, but your thoughts changed. Jean set both of you down on a roof, your legs trembled so you fell. Jean went on your knees and held your shoulders. You slowly looked up.

"Why?" He mentioned as tears built up in his eyes. "WHY?" He yelled once again now shaking you. "Why do you usually risk your life for other people. Like the time you saved me when we first met, now going around town and looking for people to save? If you're going to kill yourself might as well do it now! Your life is a precious thing to me and you, and so many other people. You see how Bertholdt saved you? He did it because he loves you, he did it because he was your friend. I'm not allowing you to go saving people you barely fucking know. You have almost died 3 times now and that is not acceptable to me or to you. I've been waiting to have this conversation with you for 5 damn years. I hate it (f/n). I HATE IT (F/N)" He yells with his voice cracking time to time. "AGAIN. IF YOU'RE GOING TO KILL YOURSELF DO IT NOW."

Mikasa stands there in back of Jean. She grabs him by his jacket and narrows her eyes. "You can kill yourself if you want to. But if you ever tell (f/n) to kill herself again I'm going to whoop your fucking ass."

She lets him down. "Eren already died. I'm not losing (f/n) because of you." You sudden stood up.

"SHUT UP ALREADY! Jean, the reason why I wanna join the damn Survey Corps is because I wanted to risk my life for humanity, and Mikasa, it's okay if I die. I am going too sooner." Her eyes widened, she suddenly slapped you and you fell. "No you're not. Not while I'm here." She nods, "Me too." Jean adds. "Bertholdt lost his leg. He saved me. He could be dying of blood loss right now!" You mention, "You're covered in titan saliva. Gross."

Jean says now looking at you, you snarl and run away. Crying once again, thats what you did the most while this happened. Cry, cry, cry. That was the last thing you can do, you ran to the roof where Bertholdt was and saw him laying there, with his leg fully grown again, you wrinkle your nose and look away for a second. You feel a certain pressure pin you down. You felt a knife at your neck, you opened your eyes and saw Reiner. He touched your cheek with his thumb and took your 3DMG off. "H-Hey! Reiner! What are you doing!" You squeaked as he leaned in closer. You pulled his face away from yours. "Well, you may be wondering how Bertholdt's leg somehow came back. Well, thats how titan's, work."
