Chapter 18 || Hugs

*Flashback

"C'mon (f/n)! It's getting late and we gotta go home. Even though.. we are lost." You nod and look up, Jean smiles and grabs your hand. He repeats the words c'mon. He runs fast and you trip. "(f/n)! I'm so sorry" You looked up and laugh. You look down an notice you fell down in a hole. He nods and you walk with him, you touch your head and notice your bleeding, his eyes widen as he comes closer and shakes you. You smile lightly and continue to walk, he wrinkles his nose. You follow him and skip, he laughs and skips with you. You get on your knees and pick up a flower, he rubs his head as you give it to him. You noticed how you've never left him alone, even if you were both lost. Even if he was in trouble. You again noticed all the possibilities of simply leaving him, but you've never done that. "Are you coming Jean?" You say running. "Hey, (f/n). If I ever die, can I simply say I'm sorry now for being so foolish?" He mentions, stopping. You shrug and walk with him, "But what if I get badly hurt saving you or another friend we meet in the past? Will you get mad?"

He puts a hand to his chin, and looks at you directly in the face. "I would be mad if you ever even tried to save a friend other than me" You laugh and roll your young, little eyes. "Even if you don't die. Even if you don't get hurt, I don't want you to risk your life for any reason" You nod and say, "Well for you. Because you're my best friend, okay Jean?" He smiles brightly and hugs you, you go flustered for a moment. But you smile once more and pet him, he purrs and you laugh falling down. He tickles you and you giggle uncontrollably, you suddenly flip him over and pin him down tickling him back. He laughs and yells for help, you attempt to grab him by his legs and carry him. He giggles and puts his hands up. You grunt but continue to try to find your way home.

You look at the sunset and see it slowly falling, "(F/n)! I feel like I'm ten feet tall!" you giggle and continue to watch, he watches with you but suddenly falls asleep, you could tell because he got heavier. "I love you (f/n)- flower!" You chuckle. "Hah. Flower?"

Jean walks over and sees you and Mikasa fighting over something, he hears the words "DEATH IS AN OPTION TOO MIKASA." She slaps you as Jean quickly comes to comfort you, he noticed how you're covered in blood. He then looks at Marco. He stops and trembles. He then thinks about the time you both talked about not risking your lives for other people. His face then becomes stoic as he picks you up by your collar. He holds on tighter as you look over at Mikasa, she didn't show it. But you knew she had the words 'fear' in her mind.

He slightly shook his hand, "(f-f/n). S..Suicide? You have to be kidding me.. Marco was one of the most important part in both of our lives." He stopped in the middle of his sentence, shaking and crying. "B..But.. to lose you? I can't do that. If I ever lose you my life would be over." Your eyes widened at his words, he cupped your cheeks and pulled you into a passionate kiss. You kissed him back, Mikasa looked over at you two and smiled. You pulled away and sobbed on his shoulder, you felt something around you and Jean, it was Ymir hugging you two. Then you felt another pair of arms, it was Mikasa. You all hugged each other and cried in each others arms. You all then went in a line and aimed onto a back, building, you all maneuvered around and saw a titan. You sliced it all together, Mikasa stabbed it's eyes, Ymir and Jean cut off it's ankles, you used your two blades to cut off it's nape.

Ymir grabbed your hand as Mikasa grabbed her's too, you grabbed Jean's hand and you all ran together in unison, holding hands. You then all let go and plotted yourselves down. You saw Eren who was carrying the rock. You clapped and cheered as everyone wrinkled there noses at you, you hugged Jean and kissed him. He smiled and kissed you Mikasa blushed and Ymir shoved her shoulder.

"Imagining you and Eren, Kuh?" Her eyes widened as she quickly elbowed her stomach. "OI! I'M JUST JOKING AROUND"

You turn around and see them, you laugh as Jean plots you on his back. You all focus on Eren, he finally plots down the rock and you all cheer. He falls down and rests, you spot Armin whose checking on him. Mikasa nods and continues to sit next to Ymir, right as that happens, a titan comes near Armin. His eyes widen as he holds his blade out in dear. You quickly go down to save him, you quickly slice it's arm off. Right as you were about to slice off it's nape, something faster than you did it for you. You were about to fall down at the same time the titan was, you squinted your eyes getting ready for the impact, you felt hands grasp you. You opened your eyes and saw a raven haired man with icy blue eyes looking down at you.

"Tch."
