"Kailey? Listen, I know you're still... Heart broken. Erm... But a couple friends of yours came to visit. Perhaps I can inform the hospital that your friends will take you out for a walk for a couple of hours?" The nurse asked.

It's been a week since I've been in the hospital. Friday was the last day James was ever seen in person. Tiff told me, he was buried that day. His family and my other friends kept sending their condolences. I did the same with his family.

"Kailey? Do you mind if your friends come in?" The nurse asked.

I stayed silent. I didn't want to move my head or speak a single word. I'm depressed. Not even Tiff and her boyfriend can help. Why would they want to see me now?

"Mm... I'm going to let them in," the nurse decided "and inform the hospital that you're gonna walk with them through the park."

With just that she left and let them in the room. "Hey Kailey!" Tiffany said in a soft tone, "hey come on. Let's go outside."

She tried lifting me up, but I refused to. She sighed and pulled me up with all her strength. I feel like a potato right now...

Chris chuckled at her effort. I started at my feet, laying dead at the end of the bed. I can tell that she was giving him a death glare, that's for sure. I just didn't want to look at her or him.

'I miss James... Is he really mad at me?' I kept asking myself.

I wanted to know, I couldn't help but ask that question. It's been in my head for a while. I just wish I could stay with him. But... I'm the one who killed him with my stubbornness. If I wasn't so stubborn, none of this would've happened. I wouldn't be in the hospital, waiting to be released, my babe wouldn't have died while trying to save me. Nothing.

"Kailey, come on." Tiff said in a gentle tone.

I know she's not going to leave me alone-not that I want her to. I finally looked up at her. She had a worried smile, she just wouldn't show the worried part. "It'll be good for you."

"...okay..." I finally said moved, "....I.... Don't wanna go.... With this robe on...." I said once I stood up.

I mean, who would wanna go outside to the park, wearing a hospital robe, that could show your ass off to the world? Nobody... Unless you're really like that.

Out in the park near the hospital, little kids played around. I had dark grey sweat pants on, and a grey hoodie to go along with it. This is actually the first time I've worn this type of outfit. Usually it'd be something else. But I'm guessing it's because I'm rich (which I don't really wanna be) I dress more... Differently. "Honestly! I don't get why you're dad wouldn't just have you rest at home. I mean, he can hire personal doctors to stay at you're place until you're better!" Tiffany ranted on while drinking a latte.

Chris spotted a small cafe near the park, so he got us all something to drink. Tiffany had a vanilla latte, Chris had a mocha frappe, and I had a caramel latte.

"It's okay." I said, sipping my drink, "daddy's to busy to notice things right away anyways..."

"Come on Kay, it's been a week since you've been in the hospital. And since James's funeral. He hasn't even come to check on you." Chris said.

I don't know how a simple walk in the park turned into, having a meeting on a stone bench.

I sighed and looked over to the playground in defeat.

They're right anyways. My father was always so busy with work. After my mother left him, it's just none stop work for him. We haven't had a decent time to sit down and talk. He never checks up on me, when I pass by him in the hall, he ignores my greetings. Even when it hits dinner, he'd have it brought to his room. For anything I've done, he's never seen, he never once said "good job Kailey!" Nothing.

I didn't want to hear them. Watching the kids play around was the only thing that could possibly get this conversation out of my head. I took another sip. "Hey Kailey." A familiar voice said, "I almost didn't recognize you with you're clothes today!"

My eyes popped open for a sec as I turned around.

I didn't expect to see him... "Michael..."
