Chapter 14

I just couldn't shake the feeling of Tiffany coming over to L.A., I mean-what's she gonna do when she does find me? Be happy? Mad? Or would she try and bring me back to Florida and continue her regular life? There's so many questions that's gone through my head and so many unanswered every single time. "Kailey?" Seth asked while licking his ice cream.

I blinked a couple times. Was I thinking to much? Probably... yeah...

"Kailey your ice cream's melting!" Matt pointed out.

Ice cream? Oh! It is ice cream, some thinking I did there.

I took a lick of the ice cream and dragged them along to Hot Topic. The song "Knives and Pens" from the Black Veil Brides was playing. Matt and Seth was holding hands as they entered the store.

"Hi guys welcome to Hot Topic!" A man in his early twenties greeted.

"Hi." All three of us said in unison and continued to look around the place.

I looked through the band shirts. There was Pierce The Veil, Asking Alexandra, Sleeping With The Sirens, Black Veil Brides, etc. It was all just so much I wanted to get. But I didn't want to over fill my drawers and closet. "Babe!!! I want this shirt! Oh and these pants!" Matt whined.

"I don't have that much ba-"

"Seth come here for a sec." I interrupted.

Seth left Matt standing in front of the shirt he wanted. His eyes looked as if it belonged to a kid looking through the aquarium for the first time. Fascinated by all the fishes in the water. Seth came up to my side and looked at me a bit troubled, "yeah?" He asked.

"How much is that small outfit?" I asked.

"I think - all together it'd be... Fifty something." He thought out.

Hot Topic is pretty expensive when it comes to buying a outfit. I didn't even bother with asking how much he had on him. I pulled out my mini wallet from my pocket and handed him sixty dollars. "Use it." I smiled.

He looked shocked and awkwardly took the money. I turned him around, patted his back and pushed him towards Matt. "Go ahead and get it." He smiled.

Matt's face lit up when he heard Seth give him permission to go and get the outfit. I chuckled at his action as they went to the cashier and bought the outfit. He was acting like a little kid that just bought their new toy at Toys R Us.

"Thanks babe!" Matt said while walking towards me.

Seth gave him a kiss on the cheek as 'you're welcome.' I smiled at both of them.

I find it really cute that they're not afraid to show their love out in public. Even if they do get weird, disturbing looks from others. Shouldn't the society already be used to seeing gay couples? I know I am.

I suddenly felt a weird chill down my spine. Not the good kind either. I couldn't help but try and ignore it. 'Deep breath in and out. Don't know....' I thought to myself.

Something was wrong here, or at least might be wrong in this case. Matt and Seth didn't seem to notice. They were to busy trying to find out what store to go to next.

Murderer~ Murderer~

My eyes popped opened. Did they say that? Am I hearing things? I looked over at them, only to find both of them with their mouths shut.

"Let's go to Zumiez!" Seth suggested.

Matt agreed, I had no choice.

There was a lot of neat things in Zumiez I'll give you that. "..." I stayed silent as they were looking through the jackets. I haven't been in this store for a while. Even if it's in a different country.

James used to always want to go in this store. He would always find new things he really wanted. Like shoes, shirt, headphones by any chance. I used to come along with him, and out of no where he'd pick a shirt out for me. Or anything he thought that would look cute on me.

The last time I ever entered this store was the day before he died...

My body was all shaken up now. I didn't want to even be in this store any longer. I just wanted to leave. But I couldn't, I didn't want to leave these two. What if they need or want something. "Kailey, what do you think?" Matt asked.

I blinked a couple times, only to find him wearing an all grey jacket. "Nice right?" He smiled.

I was breathless. That jacket, the way he acted... that's how James asked me when he was getting that jacket. I took a deep breath and smiled. Of course it looked nice on him. Just like it did with James.

Kailey~

I flinched, "did you say my name?" I asked.

"No." Seth answered.

"Nope." Matt answered after.

Kailey~

"...I-I'll be outside." I said and left the store.

There was a lot of people at the mall. Pretty normal for the weekend I guess... there should be this many people in the mall anyways. Unless the mall was either new or just really dry. I don't know. I looked off into the crowd of people.

Kailey~

Who the hell keeps calling my name!? I know I shouldn't care much, but it's getting annoying! I looked at the crowd a bit more carefully. My eyes popped opened. In the crowd, looking directly at me, looked like James. He had... a peaceful look on his face. "James..." I whispered, my voice a bit shaken.

I felt tears trickle down my eyes, my vision was getting really blurry.

I blinked a couple times and tried to wipe my eyes. Thank god my make up was water proof.

When I looked up again, he was right in front of me.

Kailey...~

Within three whole years this is what it was like to see him again.

I reached my hand out to his cheek, 'so close...' I thought.

"Kailey.... what're you doing?" Matt asked.

James suddenly disappeared into thin air. There was a few people who we're looking as well. They probably think I'm some type of weirdo now-well to bad! I don't care about them.

"Nothing... What time is it?" I asked.

Matt looked at his watch, "12:07. You have to leave soon huh?"

"Yeah, I'm sorry."

"It's okay. We have to go to. Bye Kailey."

"Bye guys." I waved as they walked away.

Time to go meet up with Eli.
