Kailey-

It honestly felt good to be back. Now that I'm away from ignorant people that hated my guts for no aparent reason. I took my phone out and decided to text Eli that I was here.

Frm: Eli

Holy crap that was fast! Lol 😜 see yah at the apartment then!

I laughed and quickly left the airport, hailing a taxi cab as fast as I could. As soon as I told him my address he took off. I sat in the back, looking out the window. A lot of people passed by enjoying or hating their life, depends on them and how they feel. I wish I knew. Well... not really... nevermind. The silence was killing me in the car, I didn't want to realy talk. It might be awkward.

I decided to look out the window once more. The sun was being partly blocked by a few thin white clouds. The sky looked as blue as it would ever be, reflected by the sea. A few birds flew through the sky, minding their own business. The same as me. Minding my own business as well.

"Mind if I turn on the radio?" The taxi driver asked. I looked over at him.

"Nah, I don't mind at all." I said.

"Thanks."

"No problem." I said. As soon as the radio turned on, the songs came bursting throughout the car. I jumped a bit at the sudden sound. 'So loud...' I complained. The volume started to go down and the taxi driver laughed, "sorry 'bout that."

I shook my head and laughed a little.

We were nearing the apartment. My car was parked in the front. 'Hm... wonder if they went anywhere to help calm Reed down.'

"Okay. Here we are." He exclaimed. I looked over to my side once again.

"Home sweet home..." I sighed, giving the man the money I owe and a little tip.

I took my suit case out of the trunk and started walking towards the door to the building. I took out my keys and opened the door. My heart beating with every step of the way.

I just couldn't help but think of what's gonna happen, their faces, everything! A smile just wouldn't leave my face, even if I tried my hardest to stop thinking about it.

As I got to the door of my place, I heard three voices. One was Eli, the other was Reed... but the third one I couldn't tell who it was. It sure didn't sound like Seth... nor Matt. No, it was a guy I didn't even know.

Maybe it was one of their other friend's they made while I was away. Instead of getting my keys out, I placed my ear against the door and listened in on their conversation. "Why're we back here Eli?" Reed asked, annoyed by the fact that he sounded like he didn't want to be here.

"It's... a surprise..." He answered hesitantly.

"What surprise?" The other guy asked. Do they even know I'm here? Or it's just Eli that knows. I sighed and took my head off the door, they're waiting, I shouldn't keep them waiting for to long. I reached into my pocket and pulled my keys out once more, the keys all made a jingle for a bit. There was a loud gasp from Eli as he sounded like he shushed the two up for good. It went completely silent after that.

'Weirdos...' I giggled and opened the door, "I'm home!" I called out loud. The next thing I knew was Reed rushing towards me, behind him was Eli that gave me a huge bear hug. Him and Reed was crushing me. I laughed and looked over to the living room. There was this one small looking guy. He had light snow blonde hair, his eyes were turquoise blue, his skim cream white, and he was really skinny. He looked at me with a look that said 'oh this must be her' all over his face.

Reed and Eli quickly let go, a huge smile on both of their faces as they looked at me. After a month or so they haven't changed a bit... well... I looked at Reed as Eli went to go get their friend in the back. Reed had his hair... dyed brown. Or is this his natural color? It's hard to tell. My heart started to pound just a bit. "Welcome home..." He said, still keeping a smile on his face. His expression... looked so sincere and loving.

"Welcome back Kailes! Oh by the way, this is our new friend Joseph! Joseph this is Kailey, she's the one who lives here and our closest friend..." He said and looked at me with the same expression as Reed. Should I be concerned about the way they're both looking at me? Maybe it doesn't really mean anything and they just really miss me. I looked over at Joseph and smiled a little. He seemed like a nice guy, I wonder how they met him. School maybe? Mall? Sidewalk? Anywhere? I don't think it should really matter. As long as they're happy that's fine by me.

Hours later I was sitting on the couch with Reed laying on my lap and Joseph sitting on the far end of the couch. Eli on the other hand was in front of the tv, telling the story of how they met Joseph and how Seth and Matt had their first fight and how he and Reed had to settle it out between them.

[sorry... I ran out of what else could happen in this chapter.]
