That same day Reed decided to come with me to the salon. Even though I insisted he should just go home, he told me he didn't want to go back alone. It's nice that he doesn't want to go back without me, it's also nice that makes sure I'm alright and I'm not worrying about anything. He's like a doggy.

Loyal. I don't really know any other name on how to describe it or anything, but I think I can call him puppy... YEAH PUPPY!!

I giggled at the thought of his new nickname. "Hey!" I blurted out.

The person who was assigned to do my hair, looked at me curious.

"Yes?" She asked.

"Oh! No I'm sorry," I smiled at her and looked straight at Reed "Reed!"

He jerked his head and looked straight at me, "yeah?"

"I'm gonna call you puppy." I announced, earning a chuckle from the stylets.

"Heheh puppy?"

"Yeah puppy!" I smiled.

The person that's doing my hair smiled. I asked for coloring, and it's been a while since I had a hair cut. So I got that done as well.

I finally had bangs. It's been so long since over had bangs. My hair was straightened as well. "You look so much more beautiful." She said.

"Thank you!" I said.

After she removed the... thing around me to prevent pieces of my hair to fall, whatever you call it. I walked towards Reed with a smile on my face. He looked up, surprised. "Woah..." He said.

"Like?"

In response I got a slow nod. It was nice to see that he liked the look. Hopefully people will too.

The sound of the shop door opened, getting som - even our attention. My smile disappeared, I don't know about Reed's reaction, but I'm sure he lost his smile as well. "Hey Eli! Back for a touch up again?" The woman that did my hair greeted with a smile.

He looked at us with a sad expression and quickly changed it once he looked at her. His smile was so fake though, "hey Vanessa, yeah the usual."

"Heheh okay, well sit down now." She chuckled.

He gave us one last look and did as he was told.

Reed took a hold of my hand and stood up from his seat. "Let's go..." He said and started walking to the door.

Before we even stepped out, Eli's voice was so faint but also barely audible, "I like the new look... Kailey..."

My heart skipped a bit as we left.

Vvvvvvrrrrrrbbbbbbtttttt!

My phone vibrated. Reed was driving the car. I actually bought a car about a month ago, I've had my license I'm Florida so it was easier to get a car.

It was a call. I looked at the caller ID. My eyes went wide. Tiff it said.

I hesitantly picked up, "h... hello?"

"Kailey! Omg I miss hearing your voice!" She cheered.

I chuckled a little, "you too."

"Anyways-listen! Chris and I are finally in L.A.! Can you believe that!"

"Wait what!?"

"Hell yeah! Do you mind if we stay at your place though? Please????"

"Y-you didn't books hotel-"

"Nope!" She laughed.

I sighed in surrender, "you're so lucky you're my best friend." I said and gave her my address.

"Who was that?" Reed asked.

"My best friend from Florida just arrived here with her boyfriend. They're gonna stay with us until they go." I explained.

"Where're they gonna sleep?"

"Um... we can share my room." I suggested.

He chuckled, "I'm down with that."

I laughed and playfully punched his arm.

Soon enough we arrived to my place. Reed decided to race me and see who can make it to the top first. Obviously... he won. The prize was whoever won got to choose what to eat and watch on TV for two while hours.

So for dinner we had salmon with rice and string beans. For TV we watched The Walking Dead. I didn't complain much for any of his choices at all. They were all pretty nice in my perspective.

A couple hours later, the doorbell rang, I walked towards the door and looked through peep hole. I smiled a bit and opened the door. Tiffany and Chris.

Tiffany wore all black skinny jeans, and a grey sweater. Chris surprisingly matched with her. "Hey!!!" She cheered as loud as she could.

"Hey!" I said and gave both of them a hug.

Reed came by my side and smiled at them.

"Ooooh! Kailey, who's this!!??" She laughed.

"Guys this is Reed. Reed this is Tiffany," she waved "and her idiot boyfriend Chris."

All of us laughed and Chris playfully nudged my shoulder.

"Come on in guys, make yourself at home." I said.

"Nice place, small but nice." She said.

"Oh! By the way, your room is down the hall, Reed and I are gonna share my room." I said, earning another teasing.

Not long we were all in the living room, Tiffany and Chris were eating and Reed felt comfortable enough to share some stories.
