Chapter 22 - Darkest Secrets

Sofia's P.O.V

            "What?" Kath exclaimed, falling onto the floor beside me.

            "I...I was getting the signs or whatever, so I bought a test today. I was going to wait until I got home to take it, but I was too anxious, so I went into a gas station washroom, and...and...it's positive. I'm going to have a kid, Kath! There's a kid inside me, right now!?!" I started to hyperventilate as the tears continue to stream down my face. "What am I going to do?"  Kath gives me a blank stare, and she wraps her arms around me, allowing me to cry on her shoulder.

            "Is anyone else home?" I ask, immediately worried if Louis saw me like this.

            "Just me and Harry." Kath whispers.

            "Don't tell anyone. Please." I plead. Kath looks hesitant but nods her head.

            "I promise, I won't tell a soul."

            "Good." I try to slow down my breathing, but nothing seems to be working. I still can't believe it. "I think I'm going to try and get some sleep."

            "One question Sofs?" Kath asks, a concerned look on her face. "It is...Kevin's right?" I nod.

            "Of course! Who's else would it be?" I smile and walk up the stairs to my room. The only thing is, I'm not sure who's it is...

Kayleigh's P.O.V

            "It's great that Liam can come home tomorrow!" I smile, placing my hand in Louis' as we walk down the street towards the house.

            "I know! Everyone's been so worried, but really, he's ok now." Louis grins. "Race you home?"

            "Ack, I'm too tired."

            "I'm sure...or are you too scared you'll lose?" Louis teases.

            "No. I just don't want to humiliate you, that's all." I joke back.

            "Let's finish this. First one to jump onto the couch in the living room wins. ONYOURMARKGETSETGOOOOO!" Louis shouts, running frantically down the street.

            "LOUUUU! YOU'RE SUCH A CHEATER!" I yell, starting to run after him. There is no way I'll catch up to him, once the kid gets going, he doesn't stop.

            "YOU'LL NEVER CATCH MEEEEEEEE!" Louis teases, turning around and running backwards.

            "You're going to regret that, Lou!" I mumble under my breath. I start to gain speed, getting closer and closer to catching up with Louis.

            "I'm going to beat youuuuuuuu!" Louis yells, as he runs up the drive way, but before he knows it, I inch past him with a burst of speed, whip open the door, and jump onto the couch.

            "CHEATER!" Louis shouts, sitting on my stomach as I spread out on the couch.

            "No! I won! That's what years of cross country running gets you!" I stuck my tongue out, bothering Louis even more. "Arghuh! Get off me Louis! You're squishing me!"

            "But I'm just getting so comfy!" Louis laughs, stretching out so his feet are right under my nose.

            "BWACKDT! YOUR FEET REEK! EW EW EW EW EW EW! LOUUUUUU!" I whine, gagging in the process.
