TWO WEEKS LATER
Sofia's P.O.V
"Are you sure you don't want to come with me to pick up Kath and Harry from the airport, Louis?" I look over at the once happy, crazy, brother I knew. Ever since Natalie came back, and Louis and Kayleigh broke up, he's been in this depressed slump. Not that I can blame him, I miss Kevin more than ever.
"Nah...I'm sure they'll have so much stuff that they brought back, that there won't be any room for me. And besides there's a movie on that I want to watch." He sighs, opening another bag of crisps.
"Really Lou? Another bag? That has to be your fifth today!" I say without trying to get angry. I care too much about him for him to throw himself away like this.
" Oh great, you can fucking count Sofia! Does it look like I care?" Louis shouts. "She doesn't even care..." Louis whispers, staring at the picture on his phone of him and Kayleigh from one night when we were all in London.
"Oh Lou...." I sympathize, crawling onto the couch beside him. "It's all going to be all right!"
"Will it? She fucking hates me, Sofs! What am I going to do?" He cries, leaning on my shoulder.
"Louis William Tomlinson. Look at me." I say sternly, lifting Louis' head up. "Look at me! I don't care what you say, but no matter what, someone, somewhere, will love you for you, please never forget that!" I reply, trying desperately to not cry. Only two years ago, after my parent's death, had I heard those words spoken to me, during the night I will remember forever.
*FLASH BACK*
"How could you leave me mom? Where did you go daddy?" I cried out, striking my wrist with the sharp razor blade every time. "Why aren't you here? Why did go when I need you? How can you not love me?" I cried my eyes out, my arms bleeding. I tossed and turned, kicking and flailing as the tears still streamed down my face.
"Sofs, love, what are you doing?"
"Darling, please. Why are you doing this?" I heard two familiar voices ask lovingly in the night.
"Mom? Daddy?" I called out, sitting up in my uncomfortable bed.
"Yes, sweetheart, it's us." My dad reassuringly whispered, crawling in beside me, while my mom sat on the edge of the bed closest to me.
"Why did you leave? I need you!" I cried into my dad's shoulder, his strong arms surrounding me as the night war on. I don't know how long we sat there like that, my dad hugging me from one side, and my mom on the other.
"Love, we didn't leave you. We're always going to be here." My mom smiled, rubbing my back, while my dad hummed into my ear.
"Where will I be without you loving me?" I sobbed.
"Sofia Emily Tomlinson. Look at me. Your mother and I love you, more than you know. No matter what you say, we will always love you, and someone, somewhere, will love you for you, just like we love you. If they don't, they aren't worth your time. We will always love you. Never forget that. You are our one and only Sofs." And with that, I woke up, alone, but filled with a feeling I hadn't felt in days. Love.
*END OF FLASHBACK*
"Look, Sofia, why don't you just go pick up Haz and Kath. I need to clean myself up a bit before they get here." Louis suggests, getting up off the couch for the first time in two weeks.
