My task:

The pie charts illustrate the amount of water consumed for 3 purposes in some different regions of the world.

Looking at the chart, it is immediately obvious that agricultural use registers the highest figures in South America, Africa, Central Asia and South East Asia. By contrast, the most significant water consumption in North America and Europe is recorded in industry.

Industry accounts for 53% of water use in Europe. On the contrary, household usage only makes up a meager proportion at 15%. A similar allocation is witnessed in North America, where industrial and domestic use accounts for 48% and 13% respectively. South America exhibits a reverse pattern, where the majority of consumption goes to agriculture at 71%. Such discrepancies are not seen in domestic usage of water. North America, Europe and South America consume 13%, 15% and 19% for this purpose respectively.

Agricultural use accounts for 88% of water usage in Central Asia. On the contrary, industrial usage only makes up a meager proportion at 5 percent. A similar allocation is seen in Africa and South East Asia, where water consumption in industry accounts for 84% and 81% respectively. Both two areas in Asia use 7% for domestic use, while this figure is slightly higher in Africa at 9%.
