Sock followed Jonathan everywhere. To the bus stop, To school, to home. Everyday. With just one task: to get Jonathan to kill himself. Now, this wasn't an easy task, for Jonathan was just a normal teenager who didn't really care much for death. He seemed kind of emo, but that's about it. Sock hand been haunting Jonathan for about a month now, with no success. He did all that he could to get Jonathan to hate everything, or just anything, that would make him want to die. This was an important job for sock, because of he didn't complete this task Mephistopheles would fire him, and he didn't want that. Sock had always had a knack for killing things though; he had been mildly homicidal in is childhood and would often bring dead animals to his acquaintances as gifts. One night he even accidentally killed his parents in his sleep, then killed himself. That's when he met Mephistopheles, the owner of Hell, who gave him the job of haunting Jonathan Combs to death. There isn't really a time limit for this, Sock just needs Jonathan to kill him self sometime. So Sock likes this job because he gets to kill things. But there's one other reason that sock likes his job....
