It was the last day of the week. Sock had only a couple hours left to figure out what he was going to do. He lost all ability to act like a human, and was completely a demon yet again, thanks to Mephistopheles' visit. Sock at this point would never try to let either if his only friends try to hurt themselves, even if it meant he got hurt. They were all sitting in Jonathan's living room now, Jonathan and Sock cuddled close together, and Megan sitting in the recliner. Sock was holding back tears, and Jonathan was comforting him.
"So one of us has to die for you to stay, Sock?" Megan looked up at him
"Yeah..." was the response she got.
After a long minute of thinking, Megan stuffed forward. "I'll die." They both looked at her.
"Megan, I don't want you dying just for me to stay."
"Well, it's a little more than that..." Megan looked down. Sock and Jonathan both hugged her, and she smiled, sniffling back some tears. "Thanks guys."
"Of course, Megan."
....
....
....
Three hours later. At this point Mephistopheles could come at any moment. Jonathan and Sock were cuddling there last moments on the couch while Megan was on the floor. Sock didn't know what would happen when Mephistopheles came, and he almost didn't want to know. He hung on to each second like it would be his last. To sock it kind of seemed like he'd by dying again, but if course, not at his own hands. He rested his head on Jonathan's shoulder and sighed. Suddenly a loud snap came from no where and made everyone jump, and then Mephistopheles was right on front of them. "Come with me." he said, snapping his fingers, then he and sock were gone in an instant.
