"I never should've left them. This is my fault." Thought the ghoul Adam as he searched the quiet SummerVill for his friends. It was his fault they were here in this, place, so now he is going to get them out. As well as say his apologies.
"I got mad for nothing!" He mentally screamed at himself. "Cory was just trying to protect us! And the others were trying to keep me from doing something stupid!"
Out from the corner of his eye, he spotted two guards exiting a farm house. Suspicious, he snuck around them and saw a latch that went down. Adam opened it and entered.
When the stair case ended, he was mortified at what he saw.
He saw cells upon cells. None were clean. They were either blood stained or had bones or even a full skeleton. Some had all.
Adam was disgusted. Who would do this? He searched some of the cells. Nothing. He wandered around trying to find some clue to the whereabouts of his friends.
He looked at a figure on a bed. He was about to walk away, but he saw that it was breathing. Adam ran up and there he spotted a familiar salesman. "Nick! Wake up Nick!" He whispered.
His friend jumped up and smiled. "Adam! I can't believe it's you! There is no customer service and it's really horrible." Adam rolled his eyes.
"Uh, hello? I want to be let out. Please?"
The ghoul's eyes widened. "Uni? Is that you?" He walked towards the cell and peered in.
"Well, how many talking dogs do ya know? Come one Adam, I'm hungry!" It was Uni! But what was this? He looked like he was part robot.
"Uni! You have no idea how glad I am to see you! What happened to you?" He asked.
"Well, after you left-" he started.
"Hey! You mind letting us out first?" Nick asked impatiently, slightly tapping his foot.
Adam sighed, his curiosity had to wait. "Alright, let me pick those locks."
When he got them out, they avoided being seen. Soon, they were outside. Now the three had to find a place to hide.
"This way!" Whispered Uni as he started to run.
"Wah? Uni wait up!" Adam said.
Uni led them towards an abandoned house. Near it was a dark alleyway. "This doesn't seem shady at all." Adam said sarcastically.
"Well, it's something. Looks like no one lives here and we can hide out in the basement or something." Uni replied.
"I'm going to go see what's in the house. Maybe I'll find bottle caps too." Nick suggested.
"I'll set up the base. Uni, you keep watch." Adam said.
"Alright!"
The ghoul looked out. "We'll have to be quiet. Sunrise is coming soon, and if we're caught we're dead."

Cory tossed and turned all night. He did not get a good nights rest. But nevertheless, he got out of bed at 7:40 in morning. He noticed that his bandages were changed while he was sleeping.
He walked towards the window and stared. Cory had a strange dream. He was strapped to a metal table and lots of people where around him. They seemed to be calling to him. Warning him about something. He thought that some were familiar, but then a blinding white light took over. All he saw was white and a syringe filled will a dark green and blue substance. Then he woke up.
The door was pushed open, and in came another doctor and an assistant. They both wore makeup with an unreadable expression. The assistant held a machine with a mask. Cory was confused, for this machine is for the use of anesthesia. Were they going to knock him out for something?
The doctor coughed, capturing his attention. "Hello, we have found something unusual and we are here to fix it. That calls for a surgery, and we must administrate some anesthesia."
Cory was still confused. Shouldn't they have his consent? Or at least tell him? They were just like "Somethings wrong and it needs fixing so let us mess with your body, thank you."
He got into a slight defensive stance. "What did you find?"
The assistant spoke up. "We don't want you to worry sir. We only need to take a look."
Cory's eyes widened as his stance got more defensive. "You have a different story from the doctor."
Their act dropped and, in a fast movement, the doctor pinned him to the wall. Cory tried to push him off, but he was still weak from the previous ambush. He mentally cursed at his weakness.
The nurse slowly walked up to them, holding up the mask. Cory was still trying to get out of the doctor's grasp. "Everything will be fine honey." She cooed, as she tried to put the most mask on.
Cory turned his head the opposite way, trying to avoid it. But with a bit of struggling, the duo finally got the mask on. The nurse tuned the machine on, releasing some anesthesia. Cory had stopped moving and closed his eyes. He was trying not to inhale the knock out gas. The doctor noticed, and maneuvered himself to still lock Cory to the wall with one hand, and use the other to push on Cory's stomach, trying to get him to breath. The nurse administrated a higher dose of the gas.
After a few seconds of this method, Cory puffed out his breath as the doctor let him fall to his knees. His eyes opened widely as he started breathing heavily. Cory didn't noticed the smirks of satisfaction the nurse and doctor wore as he started feeling drowsy immensely immediately.
His strength was zapped from him, and he fell totally to the floor. He felt himself being picked up and placed on his bed. Cory tried in futile to fight for consciousness but was extremely losing, for he felt himself slowly slipping away. He caught something the doctor said, "Are you ready for this?" Then he lost his grip on consciousness completely.
"Yes sir, should I get it?"
"I'll move the camera face. Let the operation begin."
