"He is becoming a problem. Please remind me why that idiotic camera face is needed for these plans!" Nick paced before the mayor with a very annoyed expression and a scowl on his face.
"Patience Nick. My job is to just keep him from discovering his memories and his stupid friends!" The mayor screeched.
"Well look how great that's turning out! My moron of a counterpart escaped and probably found the ghoul as well as the mutt. Cory is getting out of my control and Dawn is acting up! Everything is going wrong!" His listed angrily.
"Shut up!" Aphmau smacked Nick on his cheek, leaving it red against his pale face. "If he gets to curious I'll put him on security. Where is he?"
"Taking a walk." He replied stoically.
"I'm ordering Jin to get him back to the hospital." She said fiercely, then muttering, "Why is he not watching him in the first place?"
"... I'm not entirely sure."
The mayor huffed. "Brain dead. All of them." She thought. Then she started to value the losses. If Cory were to regroup with his friends...everything would be for nothing. All that wasted time and trouble. And she'll be the one to pay. "No." She said to herself fiercely. "That won't happen. I won't allow it." She displayed her insane grin, ignoring the way Nick tensed. "Be careful Cory, next time you act up, you'll really know the meaning of curiosity killing the cat." Aphmau released a maniacal laugh, as if already seeing her end goal already.
Knight moves up.

That's it. That Nick has completely lost Cory's trust. Apparently keeping tabs on him? Pounding him with questions? No thank you. The only thing that's fishy is him, the mayor, and everything and anything in SummerVill.
Now Cory has to worry about some guy in a hat. That adds some more stress on to his shoulders, when said shoulders feel like they're about to fall off.
Maybe Dawn was on to something with high blood pressure.
The clanking of armor caught his attention. He swirled his head towards heavily armored guards. Cory panicked, and searched for something to conceal him.
He noticed two pairs trading, what he guessed, posts. The pair that recently came back had deep frowns sketched on their skin. Seems like they haven't caught their targets.
Cory took note of their hard helmets and utility belts. They had small hand pistols, flashlight, walky-talky, a taser, and other things concealed by pockets. A leg pocket was attached to their right leg. Cory crinkled in slight disgust as one guard took a long, sleek dagger from the pocket and started to pick his teeth with it.
But what really captured his attention was their firearms that were currently holding somewhat menacingly. At least, in his opinion. He swallowed. Cory really didn't want to be on the wrong side of those.
But then again, part of him feels a handle of a gun in his hand. Professionalism carved in his mind. The mechanical way he could reload a gun and aim, almost always hitting his target. Cory can also imagine bullets ripping through his body, tearing through his skin. Blood pooling with labored breathing-...he shook his head. Cory decided to analyze the protecters of the town.
Guards...in fact why would they have this much security? Cory's thoughts strayed from the criminals to the guards. So...why were so many guards? This town seems to mechanical for bad guys. So why so many guards? He know that the mayor said that these dangerous criminals are on the loose and hold a great threat, but again; these are so many guards, and they all seem professional.
