I woke up to the doorbell ringing like crazy. That normally meant only one human....Clove.
I quickly got some clothes on and opened up. And there she was dressed in black all the way from the top of her head to the tips of her toes.
"Well, how do I look?"Clove asked.
"Like a widow in mourning." I smarted back.
"Well your sister looks like a nun today. The reason I came is because we all need to be on the train station in an hour. Get Peeta up. She wants everybody there before she leaves." Clove said as she barged in.
The house was a mess but Clove didnt care. After all her room was probably the same way. She walked over to the sleeping Peeta and gave him a good hard slap. He instantly woke up and I winced.
"Sorry, Peeta, but we dont have much time. Cashmere needs us at the train station in one hour. Let's all get ready." Clove said.
She took us to the bedroom and pulled out this big huge case I hadnt noticed she had before.
"Ready to look your best?" Clove turned all cheery.
"Where did you get that?" I asked.
"Stole it from my mom. Shes in Milan though so it wont matter." Clove replied as she began to pull out this tease bush and began to run it through my hair. She handed Peeta a comb and had him straighten and flatren the rest of it out. Hairspray and a few pokes and prods later, I had amazing hair.
With Peeta she used a gel that kept his hair ramrod straight downward. She also applied a little eyeliner to his eyes and curved some down in a straight, thin, symmetrical line on each bottom half to bring out "the inner Peeta" as she claimed.
She dressed him in an black turtleneck and black jeans. I was arrayed in a black sweater and navy blue jeans because I had no black jeans. Soon enough we stood before the mirror and we were stunned by Clove's handiwork.
Eventually we were in the car on the way to the station and I remember Peeta staring at me with a tender expression.
"What is it baby?" I asked.
"I'm proud of my little warrior." he smiled.

Peeta

The train station in Plum Creek was very small and quaint, and the few people that were there were in straight rows on each side of the walkway to the train on the platform.
Johanna, in her black attire, looked like someone from a horror film who should be living in a cave somewhere. Instead she was battling the chilly weather, a warrior to the cold.
Katniss, looking very sorrowful yet at peace, stood closest to the end. As if she wanted her goodbye to be the most important, a warrior to this moment.
Madge and Gale held flowers in their hands and exchanged looks of pity, warriors of their own sorrow.
Rue was there in a little black frock, silently crying. A warrior to this last moment.
Me and Cato and Clove stood across from Katniss and Johanna and we all exchanged glances.
And then Cashmere, dressed in a long flowing black veil and an equally flowing black dress, emerged from the ticket office. Her face was determined yet grieved, strong but broken. The ultimate warrior.
She took the flowers from Madge and Gale, hugged a sobbing Rue, and gave Katniss a kiss and a whisper.
She hugged her brother and then she came to me and hugged me.She whispered to me and I nodded my head as she looked one last time at us and boarded the train.....
Little did we know what the future held....
