Goldia's P.O.V
Goldia opens the door with her key. Her parents aren't here yet. She walks up the stairs and locks herself into her room. And it's at this moment when she collapses on her bed by crying her eyes out. She wasted her friendship with Jason. The most precious friendship for her. By wanting a boyfriend, she lost her best friend.
She takes the Squid-Phone on the bedside table and dials Prussia's number. When she picks up, Goldia whispers between two tears :
-Prussia... I-I need you, please...
Prussia's P.O.V
-Mom, I'm back !
Prussia enters in the house by closing the door behind her. Sapphire, her mother, is reading a book in the sofa. By hearing her daughter, Sapphire raises the head and smiles.
-Hello, dear. How was your day ?
-It was fine. I battled with some strong Inklings...
-Great ! You're probably hungry after that Turf Wars, no ? I prepared you your favorite salad : tomatoes/lettuces/radish/carrots ! It's in the fridge.
-Thank you.
Prussia puts her Soda Slocher in a chair and goes to the kitchen. She opens the fridge and takes it with a cranberries juice. Then she walks up the stairs and sits down on her bed. She turns on her TV and begins to eat her salad.
Prussia loves that peaceful moments like this one. She gets ready to eat an other one filled when her Squid-Phone rings. Goldia's call. She picks up and says :
-Hello ?
-Prussia, Goldia whispers. I-I need you, please...
-Why ? What happened, Goldie-Goldie ?
No answers, but she hears suffocated sobs.
-What ? Don't tell me you're crying ?!
-It's Jason, Goldia says. I... I told him my feelings, but... he...he doesn't love me... He never loved me... I'm only his.. friend...
Prussia fails spits out her salad.
-I'm coming, Goldia ! You're at your home, that's right ? Don't move, I'm here in ten minutes !
Blue Inkling leaves her meal and her juice in her room, walks down the stairs and runs towars Goldia's home. Food can wait. Not a broken heart.
Jessy's P.O.V
-I told you to ink plants, and you're listening to some music instead of making for what I asked you !
-I can do both in the same time.
Jessy is sitting on the sofa. She listens " Tide goes out " with her Headphone. Her left tentacle holds a watering can and pours slowly some blue ink on the plants of the windowsill. Poison stops folding the linen and looks at the scene of an ironic air.
-I'm seriously gonna to cut your tentacles a day...
-If you do it, I'll kill you, right ?
Poison looks at the heaven and straightens his signet ring.
-Jessica, you can't kill me. I'm stronger than you.
-But it's not a reason for...
She breaks off by seeing Jason. He just entered in the house. He seems to have cried. Poison says :
-You're late of ten minutes, Jason.
-Hmm... Are you OK, Jessy asks ?
He raises the head. His mint eyes are full of fog.
-I... I broke up... with Goldia...
And he throws himself into Jessy's arms by crying. Surprised, orange Inkling releases the watering can which falls and splashes the ground. She doesn't understand well, but Jason is her brother. He needs to be comforted. She squeezes him in her arms. Poison sighs and hugs the twins. The three siblings stay like that by hearing Jason's sobs. Like the day, seven years ago, where their parents died.
( Heya, I'm here. Pretty sad chapter, isn't it ? Goldia and Jason have both broken hearts... We learnt the Siblings Kinley haven't parents anymore... So sad...
