4. DisneyWorld

I woke up the next morning to a soft snore near my ear. I tried my hardest to my eyes but the sun was shining real bright in the room. I covered my eyes with my arm and tried again to open my eyes and saw I ball of fur next to me. I smiled down at the hair and knew exactly who it was. I watched her sleep for a couple of seconds before I decided its best she woke up. 

"Sophie, wake up. We need to get up off the couch" I tried shaking her.

She mumbled a few choices of words and turned her face facing the couch. I needed to pee and having a morning wood and a half naked woman on top of me isn't making matters better. The time on the cable box said 7:59 at any moment Anna could walk into the living room or Sophia’s son would come down here looking for her but she's still asleep on top of me. 

"Sophia, come on wake up" I shook a little harder. 

She slowly sat up as I sat up right next to her. Sophia rubbed her eyes trying to adjust them to the sunlight. Even in the morning she looked breathtaking. Her honey blonde hair was all curly and puffy; it's itching for my fingers to run through them.

"What happened"?

"I'm just waking you up because Jacob's gonna come looking for you and Anna should be coming here any moment".

"I slept the whole night"?

It was more of a question then a statement. "I guess you did" giving her a small smile. She looked up at me and I could tell she was either getting uncomfortable or she was nervous but whatever it was it was making her tense up. 

"Um thank you for last night or should I say this morning".

"No problem Sophie, don’t mention it"

"Mama". 

Jacob came down the stairs in his pjs looking for his mother. This little boy looks so much like Sophia that it hurts. 

"Morning Jay" 

"Good morning Jacob" I said.

His eyes lit up and run to me something that really surprised me and Sophia. 

"Jacob" Sophia scolded Jacob. 

"No it's fine Sophie. Its okay, what's up little man". 

"Good morning mister" he smiled up at me "pancakes please" he pouted. 

"Jacob" Sophia groaned. 

"No it's fine. I don't mind cooking for little man. At least he enjoys my cooking" I smiled at Jacob who was now smiling brightly at me. 

"Okay. Well let me go shower and get Jacob ready for a long hot day at Disney world. 

"Yes" he beamed. 

"That's great! I hope you see Mickey Mouse and goofy and everyone else". 

"Mister come please" Jacob yank at my shirt. 

"No I can't Jacob. Your mommy is going with you so that you guys can have fun and be happy".

"I mean if you want you can come. Besides Zara's coming so technically you won't be alone".

"You sure? Because I don't want to interrupt your family time".

Sophia laughed and I couldn't help but let a smile appear on my face. She looked so relax and happy this morning and I was happy to see that. 

"No trust me you won't be interrupting nothing. Honestly even though it’s supposed to be Jacob's time to have fun, knowing Zara it's gonna be like I have two children". 

I chuckled because Sophia was right about that. I sometimes think Zara is just too much of a little kid but I love my baby sister. 
Sophia took Jacob upstairs and got her and him ready for a long day. I on the other hand went to the kitchen and started on the pancakes for Jacob. I made two omelets for Sophia and Zara. I wasn't really in the mood for breakfast so I just ate a bowl of cereal and an apple. Before I went to shower I went walk to Sophia room and heard her laughing and talking to Jacob. 

"Sophie" I said softly slowly walking inside. 

"Yeah".
I couldn't help but let my eyes travel down to her legs and up pass the towel that was covering her upper body. 

I cleared my throat before speaking knowing that my voice would be hoarse. 
"Um breakfast is ready and also wake up Zara her breakfast is also there". 

She frowned I wanted to rub my thumb against her frown lines. 

"You're not gonna eat" she questioned 

"I ate cereal. I wasn't too hungry this morning".

"Oh okay".

"If you need me I'll be in my room getting ready"

She nodded and I left her room and hurried to the shower. A cold one was needed ASAP.  I don't know what she's doing to me but she's doing something. I've never really found myself attracted to females of other cultures or races and I don't think other females found me attractive like that either. I wanted to date other females besides Caucasians but I wouldn't think I would find one attracted to me. Besides I don't know if Sophia finds me attractive or has any interest in me. 

Whatever the case maybe she probably isn't the type to date a white guy. I got out the shower and threw on a pair of white cargo like shorts with a dark navy blue v neck shirt and a pair of Sperry’s. I dried my hair with the towel and ran my fingers through it a couple of times before settling for a simple look. I don't know why but I was excited to hang out with Sophia and Jacob. Zara was just extra company but nevertheless I was excited to hang out with her too. 

I came downstairs to see Zara helping Jacob cut his pancakes, Michael eating a kiwi and talking to Sophie who was giggling at whatever he was saying. My eyes ran down her body but she couldn't see me since her back was towards me. Dressed in a pair of dark shorts, a white tank top and a pair of toms the tank top hugged all her upper torso. I groaned internally and those shorts just hugged her hips nicely showing her curves nicely. 

"It took your ass long enough to get down here" Michael said pulling me out of my thoughts. 

"Yeah whatever guy but why are you here" I questioned him. 

"I was going to be the driver for the girls and baby Jay".

"Oh I didn't know that. I thought I would drive".

Before Michael said anything else Zara butted in "yay Jacob Uncle Blake is coming to see Mickey Mouse with us".

I looked over to her beaming at Jacob. Jacob was just finish eating his breakfast and was now sitting on Zara lap playing with her hair and giving her random kisses. That boy loved Zara way too much he could a little lady's man when he gets older. 

"Let's go grandpa we don't have all day" Zara yelled out. 

I rolled my eyes and started walking to the door. I could see Sophia trying hold off a smile that was appearing on her face. I looked up at her and she looked away. Why did he hurt you I thought to myself? 

The whole ride to Disney world was filled with singing songs and talking about everything rated pg. Sophia even joined the conversations which was really different because she usually kept to herself. She seemed to have this different vibe about her today and I couldn't help but like it. 

In no time we were starting to see the castle and Jacob started screaming and Zara was egging him on too. Everybody was laughing at both of them; imagining Zara having a child herself is going to be a disaster I can already feel it. Michael had finally found a parking and we were out the car in no time. The girls were getting ready to pay when Michael and I stopped them. 

"Let us pay guys" Zara complained. 

"Nah its okay I'll pay for you" Michael suggested. 

"And I'll pay for you and Jacob" I added. 

"No that's not necessary" Sophie glared at us. 

"Just let us pay and we can go about our day please". 

They both finally agreed and we were in the theme park running around doing whatever Jacob wanted to do. I sat back and watch as Sophie interacted with Jacob. Clearly she loved him so much and protected him from anything and everything which was heartwarming. She was actually smiling throughout the whole day which made me smile and enjoy her company even more. Sophie was really relaxed and she even joked around with Michael who was very surprised. 

Sophie, Zara and Jacob were on another ride while Michael and I waited for them. 

"Man I don't know if I told you this but there is something about Sophie that is awfully familiar about her".

I'm surprised he didn't notice it earlier but then again she did change since the last time we saw; one of them being she had a baby. 

"Yeah she is familiar". 

"I remember now she was from your parents’ anniversary party" he said with such confidence. 

"Wait what, no guy. You remember a couple of years ago when we got a call about a domestic disturbance, the only call about domestic disturbance".

Michael looked at me with this blank face thinking really hard.

"Not really I mean I have an idea but I'm not sure". 

"Well obviously you're not going to remember her because she definitely changed include having a son and changing her hair color".

"Damn you studying her Blake". 

"It's not even like that. It's just that I remember more than you because I have a better memory than you do that's for sure".

“Uhuh sure” he said walking off to where people were getting off the ride.

“I want food momma” Jacob said.

“Alright lets go”.

we walked over to a hot dog stand and ordered. Wee were sort of quiet while we settled down and ate.

“So when do you guys go back to work again” Zara asked.

“The day after tomorrow but we are leaving the beach house tomorrow” I explained.

“Thank God now I can walk around naked” Zara grinned.

“Um I think not” Sophia responded.

“Anyways when are y’all going back to New York” I asked.

“Like in a couple of weeks don’t worry about it” zara said.

“So what are yall gonna do while we are back at work”

“Probably make good use of that pool most likely” Sophia responded as she wiped Jacob’s face.

“I was also thinking we should go to this restaurant that I’ve been dying to try. Its located in Tampa and I heard it is amazing” Zara said with hungry eyes.

As soon as she said Tampa I looked over at Sophia and her whole body stiffened. She looked at me and bit her lip. I knew why she got all tensed but nobody else seem to notice.

“I heard its not all that great” I tried to convince Zara.

“I don’t care for your opinion so I’ll go and be the judge of that”.

Sophia looked at me again with pleading eyes but I didn’t know what to do. Knowing Zara she’ll dragged Sophia along just because.

For the rest of the afternoon we walked around the theme park taking pictures and eating treats. I even got on a couple of rides with Jacob. It was nice seeing him smile and have a great time and I also love seeing Sophia smile too even if it was for just a second.

We go back to the house at around 9 and Jacob was fast asleep as well as Zara and Sophia. I took Jacob out the car seat and gently shook Sophia.

“Sophie wake up we are back home”.

Her eyes slowly opened and was about to reach for Jacob but stopped her.

“I got it”.

Michael scared Zara out her sleep which started a whole fight and I left them to figure that out. I gently laid Jacob in the bed as Sophia finally got up the stairs. She looked worn out and so was everyone else. Today was a long day and it was worth it though.

“Sophia” I called.

“hmm”.

“You know I know everything and I just want to let you know nothing is gonna happen while you’re here. So just enjoy yourself on your vacation”.

She looked up at me and the look in her eyes told me she’s just as scared as she was before when I saw her on the first day.
