School is hell.
Hell.
Enzo can't walk down a corridor - one corridor - without someone poking fun at him. Which means walking to class, walking to the quad, walking to the lockers.
It is not just Tyler or Ryan or Jason or Harvey anymore. It is everyone.
Everyone.
And to make matters worse, exam season has started. Not the small, end-of-year exams that no one cares about. The big exams.
The exams that come just a year before the even bigger exams - and even though they don't count for them, they count for something.
They count for Enzo's mum.
If he fails them, then he has to sit back a year. And sitting back a year means more time.
More education.
More money.
Gem is sitting the even bigger exams. Robyn is thinking about college.
And the twins - the twins are getting scarily close to secondary school.
Money.
More money.
Enzo wonders whether he hates the world.
Just for being expensive.
