[CHAPTER #2]

Seokjin's Point of View

Great. I just have to share a room with the only girl in the department. How am I supposed to focus on my studies and keep up my reputation with her around? With my past experience with girls I know that the boys will scold me to do the same to Yeonji.

She's different. When I saw her face it looked very natural, unlike every other girl who wears so much makeup. She has this natural beauty thing going for her. She also didn't swoon over my looks the first time she saw me. I wonder if I have a chance with her, but I can't. I'm here to study and keep my promise to Taehyung.

I was a play boy in my old school, I went out with a new girl for the fun of it, hoping to find a challenge one day. Instead I found boring girls who only liked me for my looks. But now I focus on my studies. The sooner I graduate the sooner I can get out of the country.

Yeonji and I walk into the canteen and I spot the boys sitting in the corner. I wave at them and slowly make my way to the table. I peer over my shoulder to see Yeonji wandering around like she doesn't know what a table and chair are.

"Are you coming?" I shout to her. She gives me a puzzling look and I sigh. I thought girls are smarter than this. I walk back and take hold of her wrist, pulling her over to our table. She tries to resist but I pretend I don't hear anything and sit down.

A chorus of 'hello's were exchanged by each of the boys while they introduced themselves to Yeonji. She smiles awkwardly at them, obviously shy from talking to boys. I laugh at her reaction and just turn to talk to my friends.

"Hyung who is your dorm mate? We are all paired with each other," Jimin asks leaning forward slightly so he can see me.

"Strange story, but Yeonji here is my dorm mate," I reply, trying not to make a fuss.

"Is that allowed?

"But she's a girl!"

"Aren't there rules against this?"

"I thought so at first," she speaks with a frail voice, "but I am the only girl in the singing department. It only makes sense."

I smirk at how she rephrases my explanation from earlier. Taehyung sends me a glare from the opposite side of the table.

Taehyung hated it when I brought back girls every week. He knew how I treated them, but I just shrugged his opinions off. I stopped doing that after I auditioned for this school, and have reassured him that I'm not like that anymore.

When lunch is over, everyone was free to have thirty-five minutes to themselves. I walk out of the canteen to go the bathroom, but Taehyung blocks the way.

"Taehyung, what are you doing?"

"What are your intentions with Yeonji, Seokjin Hyung? She's a nice girl," he queried with a worried look on his face. He is always the person with the kind-heart out of us seven. Sometimes I question when he calls himself a 'bad boy'.

"Nothing, she just happens to be my dorm mate. I'm not like I was before Taehyung. I promised I would never go back, remember?" I try to reassure him.

"Good," he says, clearly full of relief.

"Get going you idiot," I say playfully messing up his hair, before entering the men's bathroom

For the rest of the afternoon we have icebreaker sessions with our department. It was pointless at first because I know all of the Bangtan boys, but I guess its for Yeonji and the other two boys' sake.
