[CHAPTER #10]

Seokjin's Point Of View

The school is off timetable today, we have no classes so we are preparing for our examinations. My singing exam went well and as expected, so I'm not worried about my grade. I am worried about my dance examination though. Naejin is a really good dancer, but she always makes the performance based around her. I feel as though I am only an accessory to our dance. Tsk. It's not even our dance, it's more hers! She has a really snobbish attitude too. I really regret partnering up with her now.

The twins have found an abandoned classroom on the top floor and has turned it into a dressing room, hair and makeup salon. For us, it's free. I'm so glad we made friends with them now. For others, they're charging 7,000 won for hair and 11,000 for makeup. They also have a snack shop with prices and everything!

I walk into the room and the strong fume of hairspray smacks me in the face. At the moment, Yeonji and Jimin are having their hair and makeup done. They are wearing matching costumes in red. I wish I could wear colour, but no. We have to wear white. It's so unoriginal.

"Annyeong, Hyung," Jimin greets me as he sees me walk in. I smile and take a seat with the rest of the boys.

"Do you guys know what time you're going in?" I ask grabbing a bottle of water.

"On the order list it's us then you and Naejin in the 11:30 to 12 slot,"

"So we're the last two?"

"Well since they start at eleven then yes,"

I sigh at the outcome of the performance order. It is known that being at the bottom of the list is bad, because the examiners are more likely to give bad marks. Hopefully the both of us do well enough.

"And, done!" Chintae exclaims when she is finished with Yeonji. She stands up from where she is sitting and faces us.

"Well?"

Damn. Her black hair is curled and pinned up in a lose up do. Loose strands shape her face perfectly and accent her facial features. As for her makeup, it is light, but she looks so different. Her eyes are pronounced and bigger. Her cheeks catch the light, highlighting her pale skin ever so slightly. Her lips are painted a soft, kissable red. She looks beautiful

"Wow.." the boys say as she walks over to us. She blushes in embarrassment and sits down next to me. I'm still having trouble finding words.

"Yeonji-ssi! I don't even recognise you anymore," Namjoon comments sarcastically. She laughs lightly and thanks him.

"Thank you for all the kind words, but you should be complimenting Chintae for her hard work,"

"Ah, Chintae you're so talented!" Taehyung says bowing to her. He so likes her.

"Jin Hyung, what do you think of Onji's look?" Jungkook questions.

I take a few moments to fully observe her look. I can't help but realise she's staring directly into my eyes. She smiles at me and a weird sensation occurs in my stomach. What is this? I open my mouth to say something, but I couldn't bring myself to say what's really on my mind.

"I can't believe you're not paying her to make you look like that,"

"Aigoo! You're saying that without it I look bad?" she says in offence. No! I didn't mean it like that.

"No, no, no I mean you do look good, but just different,"

"Bad different?"

"No,"
