[CHAPTER #7]Seokjin's Point Of View
What a rough Friday night. It was supposed to be a study session with Naejin, but she invited me to her house - her actual house and not her dorm. No, nothing happened between us, I don't think. What I do remember is her offering me something to drink. Note: It wasn't water.
I wake up with a sharp pain in my temple. My eye sight is blurry; I can't make out my whereabouts. I sit up and locate myself to be on a couch in an unfamiliar living room. The walls were plain but it is decorated with modern furniture. It's nothing like my own house, I must be in Naejin's house.
I scramble around for my phone and panic when I didn't feel it in any of my pockets. My eyes scan the dark room for my phone and I spot it on the table. It's 5:20 in the morning and I read the two notifications on the screen.
2 TEXTS FROM DORM MATE SENT AT 2:39am
Why the fuck was she up at that time? She hasn't talked to me since Tuesday so it might be important. Pfft, I doubt it, she knows not to cross paths with me after what happened. I unlock my phone and read the texts she sent me.
DORM MATE: Seokjin-ah! Where are you? There's something wrong.
DORM MATE: Jin! Please answer, I need help!Shit. Maybe it was important.
I grab my things from the table and leave her house in a hurry. Whatever it was, could now be worse because of me. I instantly feel regret for being irresponsible. For an eighteen year old I should be setting an example, not drinking with girls I don't even know. If the boys found out they would be really disappointed.
By the time I reach the school building it was already 6 am. People are already leaving for the weekend. If I want to stay home for the weekend I have to be out by 7. Do I have enough time to check up Yeonji? Surely she has sorted whatever her problem was by now.
I open the door to our dorm room to find that it's still dark. I see a figure in the bed. It must be Yeonji sleeping. She definitely must have sorted her problem already. The least I could do for her is wake her up so she can go home on time, before the school gates close. I place my stuff on the edge of my bed and turn on my side lamp.
"Jimin?" I whisper in disbelief. In Yeonji's bed are her and Jimin. She's just in her bra and underwear! What the fuck happened?! All sorts of questions start popping into my head. Did they do stuff? Did Jimin try to do stuff with her? How did he get into our dorm in the first place?
I wake Jimin up by throwing my pillow at his head.
"Gah!"
"Morning sunshine," I greet dryly with evidence of anger in my voice. He rubs his eyes and stares at me for a moment.
"Oh! Jin Hyung! Where have you been?" he demands as soon as he realises it's me.
"I'm going to ask you the same question. Why are you in here, especially with Yeonji who is half naked?"
Jimin laughs disappointingly. The nerve this guy has.
"Well, maybe if you were here you would maybe know why she is half naked!"
"What are talking about?" I look at him puzzled. I now do not understand the current situation.
"At what time did you lower the thermostat?" Jimin starts asking questions.
"Around 7:30pm,"
"And where was Yeonji at the time?" his voice starts getting angrier. Yah! Does he have the right to talk to me in this way? I am older than him.
