[CHAPTER #21 PT.2]

Yeonji's Point Of View

"Eomma, I'm home!"

I get up from where I am sat on the sofa to see who it is. Now that I think about it, I do remember Yoongi once mentioning he had a younger sister. I walk into the main hallway and smile at the figure protruding through the door. My welcoming demeanour falters upon seeing a familiar, yet unwanted face.

"Yeonji?" the young girl questions in disgust. I find this situation too recognisable. Someone who I don't know or haven't talked too in a long time showing up right in front of me. It always happens at the most unfortunate time.

"Y-Yoonae?" I raise back at her. She drops her handbag by her feet as the rising anger grows upon her face. Memories flash back of when she abused me for the pettiest reason.

"What are you doing here?"

"I- Uhh-,"

"Ah! Yoonae!" Abeoji calls as he walks in from the kitchen. The anger in Yoonae's face fades as she runs to hug her Appa.

"It's been really hard today, Appa. Oh Songsaeng-nim let me go home early from all the stress," she says calmly. It sounds like she works somewhere and has a job. Well, for all I know she's ahead of me in the game called 'future'. Sigh. I need a job.

"Appa?"

"Mm,"

"What is Yeonji-ssi doing here?"

I scoff at her sudden use of formalities. If it isn't obvious, I am still salty about how she attacked me on the first day of school. She's lucky that I didn't report her, otherwise she'd probably be grounded.

"Do you remember what I said a few days ago about your long lost step-sister and Yoongi's twin?" he starts and she nods reluctantly, "Yeonji-ah. Come here."

I hesitantly walk to Abeoji's side and he wraps an arm around my shoulder. He smiles at me and looks back at Yoonae, who now seems to be sweating rainstorms.

"After the death of Mr Shin, Yeonji's Appa, It was confirmed that she was the daughter I lost sixteen years ago. She's going to be living with us now until she graduates," Abeoji explains happily. Her lip quivers and her already pale face goes a pale white.

"B-but Abeoji. You can't let her into this house!" she argues. I suck in a breath from her words. I expected a sudden outcome like this, but she is being extremely immature at the moment.

"Bwo? And why not?" He questions sternly. At this point, Abeoji's arms have dropped from being around my shoulders and are crossed in front of him in anger.

"Because she...she-,"

"She what?"

"SHE HIT ME ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!"

My eyes shoot open at her blatant lies.

"Omo! No I didn't,"

"SHE DID!" She shouts further, jabbing a finger in my face, "I was going to report her Appa, but she threatened to ruin my school career if she didn't."

I'm speechless at the stupid excuse she's using to try and change Abeoji's opinion on me. What a two faced wench. Abeoji looks back and forth from me to Yoonae. I can see the struggle in his face from trying to choose who he should believe.

"Please believe me, Appa," Yoonae pleads. She scrunches her eyes shut and a tear rolls down her thin cheek. Wow, bitch. How fake can you get?

"Yeonji-ah," Abeoji says sternly, "Can I have a word?"
