[CHAPTER #17]

Yeonji's Point Of View

"5..6..7..8.." the choreographer counts as we practice the last part of our performance. I dance swiftly whilst also singing to the track Yoongi produced for us. This is our last practice before our 'audition' for big producing companies that could make us big idols in the future. It's very unlikely that we'll get signed to the same company, but I'm sure we'll be succesful.

"Good work, students. Now get lots of sleep, stay hydrated and the best of luck for tomorrow!" our choreographer says as we finish rehearsing.

We've decided to all hang in Jimin and Jungkook's room tonight to just mull over anything for tomorrow and to chill.

"Boys I'm just going to go and freshen up, I'll see ya'll in about an hour," I bid before leaving the studio.

I walk casually down to my dorm singing our song in my head. I hum quietly to myself.

"Ouch!" I shout from bumping into someone. I rub the spot on my head where I was bumped and reach my hand out to help them up.

"Oh my gosh, Mianhae, Yeonji!" the girl in front of me apologises. I don't think I know her.

"Sorry I don't think we've met before,"

"I'm Seuyoon, Instrument department," she introduces.

"Well it's nice to meet you! I'm actually heading to my dorm, so if you excuse me-,"

"I actually came to find you,"

I look at her with a puzzling look.

"Have you heard? The rumors?" she says, instantly grabbing my attention. What rumors? Is this anything about me and Jin and Italy. Please tell me nothing about the incident has gotten out. I grab her wrist and drag her to the stairwell.

"What rumors?" I say in a hushed tone.

"Naejin and her friend Hyeumi are going to intercept your performance tomorrow and sell themselves off as your back up dancers. They say they want in on the chance to meet the producers,"

"What! How? They don't even know any of the choreography and they didn't even get chosen," I exclaim angrily.

"They got private lessons from your choreographer. They've got a whole plan down." She expresses worriedly.

What the fuck. Who would do such a thing? I suddenly become incredibly salty about this. I've been praised for my talents before, but I didn't think it would come to the point where people would use me for my talents. Hm, let's just turn the tables.

"How stupid. They're only making me look better by being back up dancers. The whole choreograph is based on me being centered so either way I'm getting signed first," I boast in anger.

"So you're saying you're gonna use them?"

"Yes, basically," I say smugly, "But can I trust you not to tell them? I mean it wouldn't go down if they knew."

She nodds leaving me to my dorm. I quickly take a shower and put on some black jogging bottoms and an oversized white top. I lace my black vans and head to the boys' dorms. Their dorm was the furthest away from ours, but it's still relatively far.

I see a figure enter the boys' room. A girl? I wonder who she is. Maybe she has business with them that I shouldn't know of. I was about to enter the room before remembering I forgot my phone in the dorm. I quickly run back and grab my phone and also a chocolate bar that I bought earlier.

"WHAT'S UP HOES?" I shout opening the door. Everyone is staring at me, including the girl that entered earlier. What a nice feeling of being greeted by silence.
