When I woke up the next morning, I was happy. (For the first time) and got dressed. "Get down here Katie! Breakfast is done!" She screams. I roll my eyes and go downstairs. When I got down Kyle was already gone. What's new? "You're coming home after school and for the rest of the year." She says. "Why? Dylan and I have plans after school." I say. "To bad. I don't know why he sees in you? You just so annoying." She says cleaning the dishes. "I hate you." I say in accident. Right after I said that I new I would get smacked. And I was right. She smacked me in the face. It left a mark. I would cover it up with makeup but I dot have any.
When I got to school I checked the mirror. Yep. My cheek was swollen. I couldn't find dylan anywhere. People were looking at me... well my cheek. I ignored them and went to my locker. I grabbed my math book and went to class. Dylan wasn't there though. M cheek was in pain. Still.
After class I saw dylan in the hallway. "Hey dylan." I say. He frowns at me. "I have to tell you something." He says. "What is it? I ask. He took a deep breathe. I'm scared of what he is going to say. "About last night. That was a mistake." He says. That's when someone ripped my heart out and stepped on it. "What do you mean?" I ask. "I don't like you like that." He says sounding cold. "But you said you wanted to kiss me for a long time."I say. "I was in the moment."he says. "So none of this means anything to you!" I ask. "Yes. Please leave me alone." He says. He walked away like I was invisible. I was broken. Mad. Upset. He has to be lying. There is no way he would want to do that.
