  *junior year*
After school Emily came over. We had 4 hours to get ready so we decided to watch a movie before I got ready.

"What time is it?" I ask. Emily shrugs and looks at her phone. "ITS 5:00!!" She says. Our eyes widen as we run to the closest. "What should I wear?" I ask. She looks at me and smiles. "You are going to wear something H.O.T!" No. Absolutely not. "No."I say. "Why not? It's a DATE!" She whines. I roll my eyes. "Stop complaining." I say. "Your wearing what I pick out for you." She demanded. "Is not going to win am I?" I ask. She shakes her head no and rummages through my closet. About 10 minutes later I let out a deep sigh. "Are you almost done?" I ask sitting on my bed. Emily comes out of the closet holding a black skirt with tights, a short pink sweater,and my tall brown boot that I never wear. I'm confused on how I never wore any of these clothes before. "I'm not wearing that!" I say standing up. "What?why?" She says. "Oh I don't know. Maybe it's the middle of October?!?" I scream. She rolls her eyes. "You obviously have never been on a date before." She says. Wrong. "I'm not-." "Your wearing it." She says cutting me off."

After I put on the outfit and Emily did my hair and makeup (casual of course;) it was 6:43 and I was so nervous. Am I doing the right thing? Of course I am. Dylan left, he left me. Before I knew it someone was knocking on the door and my mom was answering it. "Katie! Someone is here to see you!" She screamed from downstairs. Emily looked at me. "Good luck." She says smiling. "Thanks em." I say walking downstairs. When I saw Charlie in the living room I got really really nervous. "Wow. You look amazing." He says sitting up. Let's do this.
