*summer before senior year*
June went by pretty fast. We had a bunch of cool outs with friends and family. I hung out with Emily at the pool so she could talk to the guy more. Tomorrow is July 4 and Emily is coming over to watch the fireworks! That's my favorite part about July. The food and fireworks. "Hey Katie! Go with Kyle to get some food and decorations for tomorrow!" My mom screams from the other side of the door.
Kyle is over by some girl while in looking for some decorations. "Kyle!" I tell. The girl and Kyle both look over at me. "Yes?" He says back annoyed while the girl is laughing. "Can you help me?" I say. He rolls his eyes. "See you later?" He asks the girl. "You sure will." She says back walking away. "What the hell" he says walking up to me. "I need your help? You know, mom sent both of us to get decorations." I say. He rolls his eyes once again. "Fine." He says.
After we ate dinner, I walked up to the bathroom and took a shower. After I got out, I went into my room to put in some pajamas and laid down in bed trying to go to sleep. I couldn't really fall asleep. I wasn't tired. I got out of bed and grabbed my sketch book out and started drawing until I fell asleep.
