*senior year*
Its been three days since dylan walked away from me (again) I'm sick of him walking away from his problems. Also I need to blow off some steam. I walked up to dylan as he turned around. "What do you want?" He said in a grumpy attitude. I rolled me eyes. "First I want you to drop the attitude and second I want you to come with me." I say dragging him it if the school. "We can't just leave school!" He says. I let out a big sigh and went to my car. "Get in." I say opening the door. He got inside as I started the car and left.
"Where are we?" He asks as we turn into a road that no one uses. "Can you wait." I say parking the car by some trees. We walked up to a cliff that looked over the whole town. "This. This is where I would go every night and cry over you." I say laughing. He stays silent. "I brought you here because I wanted to tell you something." I say. He turns to me. "What?" He says. "Why did you leave?" I say. Sure he wrote it in his stupid letter he gave me but it doe st make any sense. "I had to figure things out for myself." He says. "Like what?" I ask. He takes a deep breathe before speaking. "About us. About college. Life." I stare as the cold October air hit my face. "What about us?" I asks. "I just-" he trained off. "I just didn't know what to do." He says. I stay quite. "Did you know last year before you left. My dad asked me if I wanted to live with him and Tim down in Texas." "I didn't go because you were my friend. I didn't need "time" to think about us." I whisper. He frowns. "I'm sorry. For everything. For leaving you." He says. I stare at him and he stares at me. In that moment I realized no matter how much he hurt me I would always love him. That may be stupid but I just- I love him.
When I got home, I went up to my room and plugged in my phone. When it turned I got a bunch of messages from Emily. "Where the hell are you? I can't lie for you forever!" "I'm eating lunch... alone!" She said. I laughed at the messages. I decided to text her back. "Hey. Sorry had to leave and think about everything about dylan and me. I'll tell you everything tomorrow:)" I type. Not even 10 seconds later she replied. "Good! It's about time you guys talked;) see you tomorrow." She said. I smiled and went to take a shower.
