*junior year*
Emily and I made plans after school to hang out at my place. "Are we still up for after school?" She says as we walk to the parking lot."yes we are. I have a taste for sappy romance movies and popcorn." I say smiling.

When we got to my house, Kyle and my dad went out to eat while my mom was learning a new recipe. "Hi mom! Emily is here." I scream as we walk up to my room. "Hi Emily!" She screams back. Emily gives her a wave.

When we went into my bedroom, we sat down on the bed and talked about everything that's been going on. Like my dad coming back, my mom is being nice too me, and the best, dylan. I have to admit, he has only been gone for 2 days but it feels like it's been 2 years! "How are you with the whole dylan thing?" Emily asks trying to get comfortable on my bed. I let out a huge sigh. "It's rough. I've only known him for 8 months but It feels like I've known him my whole life." I say. "Trust me. I know how you feel." She says frowning. I give her a weird look. "What do you mean?" I ask. It looks like she was about to cry. "I-" she takes a deep breath. "I used to be popular." She finally says. My eyes widen. "What!? What happen?" I say. "I used to have a lot of friends. But I was really mean. Like really mean. There was this guy. His name was Austin." She says. "We were the hottest couple until I told him my secret and then he said it in front of all our friends and they didn't hang out with me anymore. They just- they just left me." She says as a tear rolls down her cheek. "Oh Emily." I say pulling her into a hug. I'm glad she told me. "Come on." I say. "Let's watch some romantic movies and wear popcorn." She laughs and nods. "I think that's a fantastic idea." She says. And just like that we were off to the kitchen to make popcorn.
