*junior year*
Its now April and the flowers are sprouting. Dylan has been distant lately. Emily and I have grew super close. I usually go over to her house and hang out there. Today is Monday and I'm so tired of school. The only good thing about school is Dylan and Emily.
When I got to school dylan wasn't at my locker. It wasn't a big deal or anything but we have been dating for 4 months now. Emily met up with me before I walked into class. "Hey have you heard from dylan?" I ask. She shakes her head no and frowns. "Trouble with the lover?" She asks. I laugh. "God no. We have never been better!" I say sitting down. When the bell rang dylan wasn't in his seat. It's not like he can't not go to school or anything.
After school I called dylan and it went straight to voice mail. "Hey this is dylan! Sorry I missed your call. Leave me a message and I'll get back to you." He said before the beep cut him off. Emily drove me home that day. "Hey. Don't worry about him. Maybe he's just busy or something." She says. "Maybe." I say with a frown. "See ya tomorrow girl." She says pulling out of the drive way. "Bye." I say waving. When I got into the house my mom was sitting at the table. "Your little boyfriend left this for you." She says holding a letter. I grabbed it and ran upstairs. When I got in my room I went straight for my bed and opened the letter.
Dear Katie,
I love you so much! And it pains me that I have to do this without saying goodbye. But I have to leave for a while. I don't know when I'll be back:( this is not your fault. I just need to figure some stuff out with my life. I hope you can understand. I love you so much!

When I finished reading I was in tears. How could he leave without saying goodbye?!? The rest of that night I spent it trying to call him, crying, and talking to Emily. When I woke up the next morning, I was exhausted. I couldn't stop thinking about dylan. How could he do this to me? I started crying again. I couldn't go to school? I definitely couldn't be at my house! I put on some jeans and a jacket. I grabbed the car keys and left. I didn't know where I was going. But I just had to be away from here.
