Part 30

*junior year *
"Katie! Wake up." Kyle yells. I sit up in my warm bed and look at the time. 7:45!?! I jump out of bed and put on jeans and a tank top. I grab my bag and head out the door to the Kyle. Today is the last day of junior year! I came believe it. I can't wait for summer to begin.

Emily was waiting at my locker like she has for the last month. "Katie!" She screams. I smile as I get to my locker. "Hey Emily." I say grabbing my books. "I can't believe it's the last day of school... of junior year. When that bell rings we will officially be seniors." She says. I laugh as I shut my locker. We walk math class together talking about what we are going to do this summer.

When lunch was over Emily had to go to her locker and I had to walk to class without her. When I got into Chemistry, I sat in the middle and took out my book to turn in. "Psst." Some
guy behind me said. I turned around and it was Charlie. "Can I help you?" I say. He starts grinning. "What's so funny?" I ask. "what are you doing tonight Katie?" He said. "Sorry Charlie I have a-"I stopped myself because what I was about to say was false. "You remember where I love right?" I ask. He nods. "Great! Pick me up at 7:00 sharp!" I say. "Cool." He responded. As I turn around Emily was standing in front of me with her mouth open.

Right before the bell rang for last period, Emily and I met in the bathroom. "Who the hell was that?" She screams. I smile. "Charlie Smith." I say. "How do you know him?" She asks. Well we might have dated in 8 grade and used to be friends in elementary school. "We used to be friends." I say. Just like that the bell rang. "Well, We are now seniors and I am coming over." She says. "Why?" I ask. "We have a date to get ready for." She says grinning.
