Part 35

   *senior year*

Its been three months since dylan asked me to be his girlfriend. It's been amazing. We spend a lot of time together at the park and go on super romantic dates. I feel bad though because Emily and I haven't really been hanging out since he asked me. Maybe I'll ask her to come over. I saw her by her locker after free period this morning. "Hey." I say walking up to her. She shuts her locker and turns to me. "Hi." She says. Well... this is awkward. "I know we haven't been spending any time together lately. But I was wondering if you wanted to come over after school?" I ask. She looks at me and smiles. "Oh thank gosh! I thought you forgot about me." She says hugging me.

After school Emily came over and we had a girls night. We did our nails, we watched horror movies and talked about what we missed. "So. How are you and Dylan?" She finally asks. I smile just thinking about how amazing it is. "It's great."I say. "That's great." She says. We finished the movie and hop on the bed. "It's 10:00p.m. What do you want to do?"I ask. She looks around the room. "You got anything to eat?" Sh asks. "Yes." I sat back. We went down to the kitchen and made a pizza. We probably stayed up until 3 a.m. It was so much fun.

Thank god it is the weekend! It was snowing this morning when Emily and i woke up. It's in the middle of January. My mom made us pancakes. "Hey Emily." Kyle said walking down the stairs into the kitchen. "Hey Kyle." She says back. They both smile at each other and she returns to eating her pancakes. There's definitely something going in here that I'm missing. I give her a weird look. "What?" She asks. "What?" I say back smiling. She rolls her eyes and checks her phone. "Crap! It's 10:25."she says getting up. "What. Do you have to leave?" I ask. She nods and puts her dishes in the sink. "Thanks."she says. "No problem." My mom says back. She goes upstairs to get her stuff. "I have to go." She says. "I can drive you." Kyle says walking into the living room. I look at them both and roll my eyes. "Yeah. Sure." She says. I said bye to her and told Kyle to drive careful then went to my room to text dylan.

"Hey." I say. I wait for about 10 minutes before he texts back. "Hey! Can't talk right now. At work. See you on monday:)" know that I have nothing to do, I'm going to pester Kyle and see what is going on with him and Emily.
