Justin's POV:

I saw a grey Audi driving in The Dean's yard, and a young woman stepping out of it. It took me a long while to recognize her as Hailey, the girl who was my neighbor almost two years and who with I shared so many amazing moments.

One reason to that I couldn't recognize her at first was probably that she looked so much different compared to that what she looked when we last time saw, in the night when everything went wrong and when we threw all that which we have created between us, to the storm which could rip everything apart.

I had thought about that night a lot, and admitted myself that I was the biggest jerk in the world when I let things go like they did. I should have contained my anger, or at least release it some other way than jumping in the bed with her mom who I had ever really had any special feelings, like I had with her daughter.

I should have kept Hailey as close as possible and not let her slip away from my touch. Now it was too late because I had heard that she was dating. I didn't know the boy's name but one thing I knew: That boy was the luckiest guy in the whole world.

"Hailey? Is that you?" I asked her but I got back just a suprised, and maybe little scared gaze, before her mom came open the door for her and before they moved inside the house. I continued my way back home and wished that I could share a few words with her on some point and make things clear, or at least clearer, between us.

That kind of silent treatment frlt ridicilous between people who have known each others that long which we had.

Later on that same night I saw her running pass my house and of course I used that chance too to chat with her but she just continued her way back home. Not even a look over me, I thought and sighed. But I was sure that we could find some chance to talk again.

I had my ways. I knew all her weaknesses and I was sure that her interest in me hasn't disappeared anywhere. The way she looked me earlier today, told everything. How much words there were waiting to say out and how much she missed me. I was still on her mind, after everything.

Message to Hailey:

"Hey! I don't know do you have my number anymore on your phone but anyways, it's Justin here. I saw that you come visit at home. Could we talk on some point?

2nd message to Hailey:

I know that might not interest you too much, after everything we have gone through but I would like to at least get a good finish to this. I don't need more than 10 minutes, okay?

3rd message to Hailey:

But if you don't want that, I totally get it. I just want tell that I'm really sorry about that night and all those rude words I said to you. I wasn't myself, I was totally jerk. I hope that you can forgive me my stupidness some day

Hailey's POV:

My phone buzzed on my night stand when I had just came out from shower. I wrapped my towel tighter around my body and opened iMessage. There were three messages from unknown number.

Justin, I whispered out and looked around myself if someone was in the room hearing me but there was no one. Even I would have wanted to pass everything which included his name, something inside me told me to check what was on his mind. So I read the rest of messages.

After reading them I was even more confused that I already was. He wanted meet me, talk with me, I thought and I felt how a big ball of mess started fill my insides. Suddenly I was full of scare because I wasn't ready to face those things now or maybe ever again.

Why couldn't we just forget everything and continue our lives like nothing would have happened? I had a new life with Marcus now and I didn't want mess it up with starting hang out with Justin again, because everyone knew that we couldn't stay on that level.

He must be dumb when he didn't realize that fact of this case. Couldn't he notice that I had still some feelings over... him. I frozen. What did I just said? Did I really have some feelings for him even he treated me so bad earlier?

Was this the thing which my brain had tried to tell me all the time since my mom called me and invited me to home? Unfinished business which needed answers and finishing. That must be it.

I added Justin's number back to my phone before I texted him back.

Message to Justin:

Mom and Richard are having a grill party on Wednesday. Some of their friends and other old neighbors are coming but I can tell mom to invite you too... we could talk there then if you have still something to say
