Justin's POV:

My phone started ring and rushed from the bathroom to answer it. "Hi, it's Hailey here. I just thought that would you come pick me up. I have really heavy bags here and I-" "Of course, where are you?" I asked and started look for something to wear.

"Close to the library, in front of that blue house next to it" she told and I promised that I'd be there in 5 minutes.

I pulled quickly my clothes on and tried fix my still moist and messy hair before I grabbed my car keys and walked to my car. It was a little suprising that she had decided call me from all those people, not that I would start complaining about it but I was just... suprised.

Hailey's POV:

I ended the call with Justin and smirked when I saw Charlotte's shocked face. "Did you really just call your neighbor, or was this some other Justin?" I giggled. "I think that I did... but hey, we got him to drive us home. Isn't that nice?"

"I didn't know that you were that close" she continued. "Do you have still something else which you haven't told?" I turned around and could feel how my cheeks started get red. "I don't think so... he's just a kind neighbor of ours. That's it" I told and bit my lip.

Charlotte sat down on the bench with me and took her phone from her backpack. "Okay... good because I was already thinking that you have some secret relationship with him" she giggled.

I shook my head and laughed. But we would have, I thought myself. "He's coming in 5 minutes, he said" I told and looked the clock from my phone. Charlotte nodded and put her headphones on her ears.

Justin's POV:

I saw Hailey and her friend Charlotte sitting on the bench with their shopping bags. "You two decided to empty the whole mall, huh?" I chuckled when I went open the trunk for them, so they would put their shoppings there. "We almost did" they giggled before we all moved to my car.

"Wow, you got a nice car, Mr. Bieber" Charlotte complimented, and I gave her a smile before I thanked her.

I wasn't so big fan of Charlotte to be honest. I had so much things about her after her graduation which Hailey hadn't probably even hear, most of bad ones. That was maybe one of the reasons why I didn't like to see her hanging with her but I couldn't either go break it between those two.

They had known each others so long and probably solved more than a few problems together, so I couldn't judge them. Plus I had made already too much mess in Hailey's life earlier that I didn't want ruin this second chance with her now.

So I just tried keep myself together and act as nice as possible around her and Hailey, 'till she would be gone and I would be myself again.

We didn't talk much during the drive but I had fun to listen girls conversations about all, from their crazy graduation party memories to their personal experiences, after they had split up on their own ways

Maybe I shouldn't have listen those things but I still did.

"I live here" Charlotte told and nodded over the light grey house right next to the sport arena. "I'm jealous of that how close you can live with that arena" I tried still say something to her, so I wouldn't sound rude while she was taking her bags from my trunk. She just laughed softly and thanked for the drive before she started walk toward her home.

I closed the trunk and walked back to the driver's seat. Hailey had moved to front seat too, and was now texting for someone. "Is it your boyfriend?" I asked but she shook her head. "No..." she mumbled and put her phone away. "Who then?" I asked and raised my eyebrows when we had to stop to wait green light.

"No one special, okay?" she said shortly and I gave up with her. "Is your mom and Richard at home?" I decided change the topic. She shook her head as no. "No, mom is at work since they had some kind of emergency there and Richard probably too. At least he didn't answer my call" she told.

"So what it feels like when there's a new man in the house?" I continued with the family topic. It made her giggle. "Good, I guess. I mean Richard seems really cool guy and mom looks so much happier than before"

"That's great to hear" I smiled before I turned the car to our familiar street. "You're getting along?" I asked and she nodded. "I guess so, not any arguments so far at least" she chuckled and took off her seatbelt when I stopped my car on my yard.

We jumped out of the car and went take her bags. "I can carry them" I offered and took Hailey's big bags on my hands. "Do you think that I can't handle those myself?" she rolled her eyes annoyed.

"No, no... I'm sure that you can but I just want help, is that wrong?" I looked her suprised because the way how she was acting with me again. She should have been thankful now when I drove her and her annoying friend back home. "No, but just saying. Thanks"  she finally thanked and made me smile. "No problem, Hails"

Hailey's POV:

Justin carried my bags inside and sighed. "Were they that heavy to you?" I giggled. He shook his head and showed his white teeth when he smiled. "No, they were really light to me" he mumbled. After that there followed a long silence. None of us knew what to do next.

Should I say something to him? Thank him still of helping me? Say him byes and same time cut this awkward situation between us? Would that be rude to do like that? Would it make him think that I wouldn't want him to stay? From some way I actually wanted him to stay, but same time my brain yelled no to me.

Justin scratched his neck awkwardly and coughed before he opened his mouth to question. "So... would you like to come over? Or do you have something else to do?" he asked and looked me unsure of that was that the best move from him.

My heart started beat faster, and a little panic hit me when I processed what he just asked to me. "I- ...."
