Chapter 22

JP's POV

Kasama ko ngayon si Phia at papunta kami kila James. Alam kong abnormal ako kasi di ba usual na dapat ilayo ko si Phia kay James kasi mag-ex sila pero bakit ko pa sila inilalapit sa isa't isa? Malalaman nyo rin, James has a reason.

Maya-maya nakarating na kami sa bahay ni James. Pinagbuksan ko ng pinto si Phia at pinindot ang doorbell. May lumabas at pinagbuksan kami ng pinto.

"Woah, what a spot of luck! The famous couple is here!"

"Who are you? And where's James?"-me

"I forgot to introduce myself, I'm James' handsome cousin, Louie, nice to meet you." Nakipagshake hands kami sa kanya. "James is here, with err....a friend. What is that b***h doing in here? Come in." pumasok na kami at nakita namin si James na mukhang naiirita. I looked at Phia, mukhang bigla syang nairita nung makita yung babaeng yon. Sino bang hindi maiirita sa isang tulad nya?

"Hi JP!" Lumapit sya sa akin at nung nahahalata kong yayakapin nya ako,

"Back off." I said in a serious tone.

"Ang serious mo naman." Remember Jessie? Sya ang dahilan kung bakit napilitang gawin ng mga friends ni Phia sa kanya ang lahat ng yon.

"What are you doing in here?"-Louie

"Nakikipagbonding sa future husband ko bakit?"-Jessie

"Oh, shut up and get out of here. Yung marriage contract na yon ay matagal ng tapos. Ipapakasal na ako sa iba. Louie, how did she escape from the mental hospital?"-James

"Don't worry the psychiatrists are here."-Louie. Dumating naman yung mga psychiatrist at kinuha si Jessie. Nabaliw pala talaga yon. May hidden desire sya kay James, naobsessed, at nabaliw.

"I'll make sure she'll never escape again." Umalis na si Louie.

"James, nice to see you again."-me. Pinaupo nya kami sa sofa.

"Nice to see you too, and is she your wife?"-James

"Yes. She's Sophia, don't you recognize her?"-me. Tinitigan nya si Phia.

"S-sophia. I guess you've changed. What brings you here?"-James

"I just want to make something clear. Why did you only want to talk to me that night?"-Phia

"Past is past Sophia."-James

"That's right, past is past, so it doesn't matter anymore. Just answer my question."-Phia

"*sigh* One reason is I'm desperate to see you because I love you so much, that time, second is I really want to tell you something, something from your past."-James

"Continue."-me

"You two are childhood friends, and you've known each other for a long time aren't you?"-James

"Yup."-me

"Noong araw na yon, sa isang park, nakita ko kayong dalawa non, at noon pa man, alam kong kayo talaga ang para sa isa't isa pero nung lumaki na tayong lahat, pinush ko pa rin ang sarili ko kay Sophia, nagbabakasakaling mahalin nya ako pero hindi yon nangyari. Nung binitawan ko na si Sophia at nagfocus na lang sa pagkanta, nung gabing yon, sa bar, may nalaman ako." Tumigil sya saglit at tumingin kay Phia.

"Narinig ko sa ilang lalaking nakacoat and tie, kasama si Jessie at Liza, they're trying to kill you, and Abegail. That's why Abegail told you to stop the plan, she asked for help from me and the others. We're currently investigating something. Phia, I'm really sorry pero, sinadya ko talaga yung car accident na yon." Nagulat kami sa sinabi nya. Susuntukin ko sana sya pero nagsalita ulit sya.
