Part 9

After Riley changes, into a large wool sweater and shorts, she lays in bed under the thick comforter while John turns out the lights. He navigates his self to the well known chair in the corner closest to the bed. He slouches and kicks his feet up onto the corner of the bed. He grabs the pillow and blanket  nect to the chair and puts the pillow behind his neck and head and covers himself with the blue blanket.

Jace walks to the guest room and quietly grabs his keys. He peaves the room without waking Bella and walks downstairs. He unalarms the house and walks outside. He walks around to the side of the house spotting the swingset.

Small flash back-
A little while later a hand grabs the chain and stops the swing. She look over at the hand and see tattoos. His has tattoos. "Riley you're going to get sick." Jace took his leather jacket off and places it over Rileys shoulders. Jace walks so he is in front of her, stops the swing and crouches to eye level. She looked down at his feet. Nice brand new looking shoes are cortex in mud.

"Your shoes after full of mud. They must cost a lot." She comments.

"I don't mind. I'll have Mindy clean them. Let's go. I'll walk you to your room." He holds his hand out to her  and she laces her fingers with his When they get inside her father comes running as Jace pulls his hand away quickly. "Riley are you OK?" Her dad pulls the wet jacket off of her and gives his own to her.

Jace walks over to the swing set amd sits on the middle swing, sighing.  "Well shit..."
