Part 11

Around five p.m. Riley gets out of bed and walks to the bay window, sitting on the seat. All of a sudden her door bursts open, making her stand up quickly. Mary, Mo, John, Jake and Aubrey stand there with smiles on their faces, aside from Aubrey, she has no clue as to what is going on. "Uh.. Hi..?" Riley walks over and fixes the comforter on her bed, kicking clothes under it.

"Hey sweet thang." Mo walks in, followed by everyone else.

"Whats going on?" Riley climbs onto her bed by her pillows. Jake walks over and hands Aubrey to her.

"We just wanted to do a little somethin somethin." Mary smiles.

"For what?" Riley asks.

"Darling, its your birthday.." John comments. Mary goes into the hall but comes back holding a cake. Riley smiles.

"I totally forgot." She states.

"We've noticed." Mo shoots back, pulling a lighter out of her pocket. Jake and Mo sit on either side of Riley while John and Mary sit opposite of them.

"I thought we were doing a whole big party thing."

"Yeah, in two weeks. Tonight you celebrate with close family." Mary points to everyone, poking Auberys nose making her giggle. Mo lights the candles whiles Jake turns the lights off, and everyone sings happy birthday to Riley.

Riley smiles and blows out the candles. "You guys do way too much for me.. Thank you."

This book will probably show more emotion from Riley and her family. I want people to understand the truer signs of depression and anxiety, which i have. You'll also see more drawings from Riley (not really hers) tjat ill be using for a coping mechanism as I do with myself and writing. I really hope you all like this book as much as the last one!.
