who was a doctor for Physics, Biologie and Science at S.T.A.R. Labs where they first met. Barry woke up from a coma because he was strucked by lightning the same night, the Particle Accelerator exploded. The accident happened nine moths ago ( Status of 2014 ). At S.T.A.R. Labs they started working together 'cause he got the ability to run hundreds of miles in seconds and he could travel through time. Once he accidently opened a breach to Earth - 38 and met Supergirl. So you can call him "The fastest man alive". But in the past his enemies, Jay Garrick AKA: "Zoom" or Eobard Thawn AKA: "Reverse Flash", were faster than him. At S.T.A.R. Labs they try to figure out his abilities and limits with the help of Dr. Caitlin Snow, Cisco Ramon and Dr. Harrison Wells AKA: Eobard Thawne ( season 1 ); Harry Wells from Earth - 2 ( season 2 ) and H.R. Wells from Earth - 19 ( season 3 ). Once Barry traveled through time with meaning to and created two other timelines. The one they live in now and "Flashpoint" which might still exist. And when he tried to change it back and put things back the way they were supposed to happen, he still created another timeline and he will never be able to put it back the way it was. In this new timeline: his mom and dad were still killed by his enemies, but Cisco's brother was killed by a drunk driver, Iris and Joe didn't talk anymore, John Diggle ( Team Arrow ) had a son ( baby John ) instead of a daughter ( baby Sara ) and Caitlin had meta - powers, the same as her doppelgänger "Killer Frost" from Earth - 2. Those powers were strong and made her powerful, but her doppelganger was evil and that's why it was so dangerous for her to use them. The more she used her powers the more difficult it was going to be to reverse it. Barry and the team tried everything to protect her from becoming evil, but after one time ( 3x06, CW's " The Flash " ) where she used her powers to save Barry from Savitar. She couldn't resist it anymore and almost became Killer Frost. But Barry saved her by saying that she would have to kill him if she wants to leave the cell at S.T.A.R. Labs and she couldn't do it. And after all of the mess, they made her a necklace, so her powers couldn't be activated on its own. But when a new meta called "Abra Kadabra" ( 3x18, CW's The Flash ) came to Central City, Caitlin was almost killed in an explosion. They saved her, but then she was having a heart attack and died. Julian took her necklace off. By doing so he did save her life, but he didn't save Caitlin's because she was already dead and Killer Frost was born. And this is how the Love Story of "SnowBarry" or "FlashFrost" begins...
