~Jaide's Point of view~
As I stood along the raging waters, I see the blood moon above me, shining a crimson red that was blinding. It was dark, with storming clouds that knew no restraint. I continue to be throttled by the waves of water, despite being unable to submerge.
I was so cold...
In the midst of the torment, I heard a paining shriek. "Jaide! Someone! Help!"
Of course, it was Cyrine's voice of all others.
Her voice had me stand up to my feet, I continued to caution through the treacherous waters.
Getting more vigorous with each foot I travel, the storm turned absolutely insane.
Panting for air, I drew back.
A fatal mistake.
The storm hurled what I thought was my final sight of a wave. 45 feet in my judgement, and no way to avoid it this time.
Cyrine... I'm sorry...
I winced and pinched my nose as I took in the impact of the wave. Except this time, the wave pushed me to the depths of the ocean's water.
It was so cold, and dark, the depths... not a fitting end for me at all... But who was I to choose where I die?
"Yeah... well... maybe I can help you with that."
What was that in my head just now? A person?
As I opened my eyes in the water, I saw someone dive within the ocean itself. Making its way towards me as the bubbles cleared up.
It came close enough that I could distinguish its looks.
It's a boy... He looked to be around my age, or older. He had dark wavy hair, with soft, honey-brown eyes, fair skin, and a strong jaw it seemed. He had a tall build, with attractive muscular constructs that were evident as soon as I laid eyes on him.
He stopped in front of me and smiled.
"Hey there, what's your name?"
I looked at him with disbelief, regarding my current situation.
He seems to be ignoring my demeanor, because he returned a smile.
"Well, my name is Letonin."
Did I ask?...
"Oh come on, don't be like that please..."
He can somehow read my thoughts as well?...
He smiled, and held his hand out as if I had time to do this right now. Although I find it absurd that I held my breath for this long, I have to go find Cyrine now.
"Cyrine isn't here Jaide, your mind only played a trick on you, silly."
He ruffled my hair, causing me to blush by his tingling touch.
"We should probably get back to surface soon... so..."
He came closer and took my hand, although I refuted at first. He held it tightly, and took me back to the surface. Except as we kept going, I saw light creep out of the water.
When my head was just above the water, I was shocked to see the entire scenery was changed.
I was in a lake of a park of flowers and cherry blossoms. The sun was as bright as ever. And for some reason I even heard a piano in the distance.
