Author's note - 12/10/2024

I'm currently rewriting my story because it's not quite where I want it to be right now. After reflecting on the chapters, I realized that there are several areas that need improvement T^T

Every chapter with a title has been rewritten, and these changes may impact the overall plot. Sorry for any confusion this might cause, but I think it'll make the story better in the long run!

Yet, I'll try to keep the plot as it is while making the changes.

Also, if stories about teacher-student relationships with an age gap aren't your thing, you might wanna skip this one. Just saying because some people were complaining O.o

One last thing - I want to remind everyone that English is NOT my native language (I learned English entirely on my own, without taking any formal lessons at school). There probably are some grammar mistakes, but my brain just doesn't notice them. If you see any and it bothers you, please let me know so I can correct them :)

THANK YOU!

As the tiredness took hold, you fought to stay awake, stifling a yawn that stretched wide across your face. Your eyelids felt like they weighed a ton, and despite your best efforts, you could feel them slowly inching shut. Your head bobbed down against your will, making it difficult to keep your posture straight, and it seemed like with every passing minute, the exhaustion only grew worse, like some slow-moving tide that was impossible to stop.

It had been a long night—one spent with your nose buried in notes and textbooks, going over every detail in preparation for the test you'd already taken two classes ago. Days had blurred into nights as you tried to cram every bit of knowledge into your head, driven by an intense fear of failure. Even your dreams had been taken over by thoughts of the exam, turning restless sleep into something that felt just as draining as staying awake. All you wanted, more than anything, was to crawl into bed and get some real rest.

But you couldn't—not yet, anyway. Just a little longer. A few more hours, and it would all be over.

You were well aware that Eraser Head would throw something extra challenging at you and your classmates today—he always did. His tests were more than just assessments of what you knew; they were legendary, a warning of sorts for anyone who dared slack off in class. But at least this time, you felt like your Quirk had given you a little bit of advantage.

Your ability to manipulate time had always been your secret weapon. You could slow it down, speed it up, and, more importantly, you often had a vague sense of what was about to happen. It wasn't like you could predict the future exactly, but whenever you felt that strange, sharp jolt in your mind, that electric tingle that told you something was coming, you knew to trust it. More often than not, your hunches turned out to be spot-on. It wasn't something you could explain easily to others, but for you, it was as natural as breathing.

Of course, just because you had a sense that a test was coming didn't mean you knew the questions—or the answers. That would be cheating, right? And you weren't about to admit to anyone that you could get close enough to the future to call it that. Still, you had a good feeling about how you did and were fairly certain that you'd passed with flying colors.

That confidence was why you loved your Quirk. It made life feel manageable, predictable. You were never caught off guard, never surprised. In fact, it was almost impossible for anyone to keep secrets from you for long. Birthday surprises, Christmas gifts, unexpected visits—those things just never seemed to stay hidden from you, no matter how hard people tried. Over time, they just stopped bothering. "She knows everything," they would say, shaking their heads in exasperation. And, honestly, you had gotten so used to it that you stopped thinking of it as a downside. If anything, it made life easier, simpler.
