It was finally happening. Today was the day. Your first training session with the Number One Hero, All Might. The thought of it made your heart race. You couldn't deny the excitement bubbling inside you, but there was also an undeniable twinge of fear. After all, this wasn't just any hero — this was All Might. The Symbol of Peace. The man who inspired millions.

You couldn't help but wonder what kind of training regimen he had in store for you. How would he help you master your Quirk? How could he possibly teach you to focus and take control in ways that you hadn't been able to before? How could you be expected to focus when the person responsible for your racing heart was also the one trying to teach you?

It was mostly his fault that you couldn't keep your emotions in check. Every time he smiled, every word of encouragement, every moment he stood just a little too close — it sent your heart racing, making it nearly impossible to focus. No matter how hard you tried to convince yourself he was just your teacher, nothing more, your mind wouldn't let it go. Every glance lingered in your thoughts, every accidental touch set your nerves alight. It was driving you crazy, and the worst part was, you didn't want it to stop.

You were so lost in these thoughts, replaying moments in your head, that you didn't even notice the classroom emptying around you. The bell had rung a while ago, signaling the end of the day, and students were packing up and heading home. Yet you just sat there, still in your chair, your bag untouched, staring absently at the desk in front of you, completely distracted. It wasn't until Ochaco's voice snapped you back to reality that you realized how much time had passed.

"Hey, (Y/N)-chan, a bunch of us are going to karaoke later. You wanna come?" Ochaco asked, her voice light and inviting as she walked up next to you.

You blinked, pulling yourself out of your daydreams about All Might. "Karaoke?" you echoed, trying to get your bearings. "That sounds fun, but... I actually have something else I need to take care of today."

Ochaco paused, her eyes narrowing just a bit as if she could sense something was off. "Something important?" she asked, her tone playful but with a hint of curiosity, like she was trying to figure out what you were hiding.

You hesitated for a moment, glancing away, not wanting to say too much. "Yeah, kinda. I'm really sorry," you said, feeling a little guilty for turning her down, but knowing you couldn't explain the real reason. "But next time for sure. I'll definitely join you."

For a second, Ochaco looked like she might push for more, but then she smiled, letting it go. "Alright, next time. You can't escape forever!" she said with a wink before waving you off. "Catch you later!"

You watched her walk off to join the others, feeling relieved she didn't pry further. As much as you loved hanging out with them, today wasn't the day for karaoke. You had something much more important to focus on — something that made your heart beat a little faster just thinking about it.

You remained slouched in your chair, your grip tightening around your bag as a whirlwind of thoughts swirled in your mind. Should you make the move to approach him, or would it be better to wait until he finally looked up? The uncertainty gnawed at you, prompting you to fidget with your fingers, your gaze flickering between the classroom exit and All Might. He was sitting at the front, hunched over his small desk, scribbling something in his notebook. He seemed so focused on whatever he was writing that he hadn't even glanced your way.

Should I stay? Or just... leave?

You shoved your books into your bag, about to make a decision when suddenly, All Might's booming voice cut through the silence of the room.
