Chapter 48

With tiredness and light leg pain, you sat on your bed, wondering if what happened not so long ago was real. Your heart was still pounding with excitement, and blood was still boiling in your veins like hot water. You put your hands on your face which were still cold from low temperature, wanting to somehow lower the heat on your cheeks. You did not even have to look in the mirror to know that they were now burning red.

Until now, you couldn't say a word. You had a quiet hope that HE would say something, somehow explain his behavior, explain to you what's gotten into him. But he didn't answer. He just told you to go home first, he just said he will join you later, he wanted to rethink what had happened.

You have never, even in the wildest dreams, thought that he would do something like that, that you would be the one who would do it a second time. Not him. You were still in shock.

And when you sat in your bed like this, and when you finally managed to calm down enough, your mind formulated this one sentence that summarized what had happened.

He kissed me.

Of his own free will.

But why?

I lost the bet. I should get some punishment but in the meantime... it was a reward for me.

You couldn't believe how quickly your relationship changed when you confessed to him. At first, he was very hesitant, you saw him struggling with his own feelings. It wasn't easy for him. Fall in love with someone like you. The differences between you two were far too big and if you were in his place, you couldn't... it would be impossible for you. But he somehow for him it wasn't. He must have understood that his feelings for you were stronger than he thought. That he's no longer able to resist them.

He lost that battle.

On the one hand, you were happy, you finally got what you wanted, but on the other hand... it all seemed too easy, too fast. You expected more resistance, much longer fight. You didn't think he would break so easily. What was the reason? What did you do that he couldn't hold back anymore? He himself drew that line and he forbade you to cross it. And yet he broke his own rule.

That kiss in the forest was completely accidental, you let yourself be carried away by emotions, you could say that you were not able to control your own body. But the other one, which you had the opportunity to experience half an hour ago, came from All Might. And not by accident. It was intentional. He wanted to kiss you.

No, it all happened too fast. And as soon as that thought appeared in your head, you couldn't believe, you couldn't believe that you, in love with All Might, were thinking about something like that. But still, you knew you were right.

It really has not been so much time since you went back in time and moved in into his house. It really was... it all happened too fast.

And you definitely wanted to change it. Even if you didn't know how yet.

But as soon as you heard the sound of the front door opening, you felt an impulse, and before you could think it over, you hurriedly got out of bed and quickly opened your room's door. Going down the stairs, you felt getting warmer with each step. You felt hot because you were angry. You felt hot because in a moment you were going to face the man you loved the most in the world and in a moment... you were going to scold him.

But as soon as you reached the last step and saw him coming in, and when u saw his face when he noticed you, as if by the touch of a magic wand, you forgot everything you wanted to tell him. You were completely frozen, you couldn't move a centimeter. You just stood there and looked at him.

It's like time has stopped - this time it wasn't your fault - you and he stayed motionless until he spoke first.

''(Y/N)... I..."

But you didn't let him finish.

Before you could stop yourself, you moved forward and while throwing your arms around his neck, you pressed your lips against his. You expected him to push you back, that he would get mad, that he would somehow stop you, but... no. He pushed you back gently, which made your back stick to the wall. He embraced you tightly, returning the kiss. With a deep sight, you shut your eyes, unable to believe what was happening. It wasn't an ordinary kiss. Oh no, this one was full of passion, full of something you could never expect from him.

For a moment you couldn't catch your breath, you felt your heart suddenly want to escape from your chest. You didn't care if you die of a heart attack or just simply you going to suffocate. You just wanted this kiss never to end.

But everything has its end.

Unable to bear it any longer, you somehow managed to break the kiss, barely breathing. He looked at you for a moment with a slight surprise, then laughed softly, letting you go and stepping back.

"This is not funny, you know?" You said under your breath, feeling a sudden wave of embarrassment. You've never kissed anybody before, or at least not as long as you just did.

''Next time remember to breathe.'' He replied, smiling slightly.

''Next time...?"

You could see on his face that just now he understood what he had just said. He scratched his head nervously and answered:

''Yes."

''So... you've changed your mind? I mean... it doesn't bother you anymore... that I... I mean, what bothered you earlier?" You asked uncertainly. He sighed and met your gaze.

"You know, I realized something after today's training. The truth is that after resetting the timeline, all of this will never happen. It is possible that I will never have the opportunity... to tell you that... you are someone important to me. I've never... never felt anything like that to someone. I have never even thought that you would be the person who... please, don't make me say it." He said suddenly when he saw how your face looked like.

''But I need this."

He sighed. And then he said those three words you wanted to hear so badly.

''I love you."

Your hand tentatively reached for his face and he didn't even dare to move when you did. You moved closer and once again kissed him. This time the kiss was calm and short. When you pulled away from him, you looked straight at those surprised eyes, smiling slightly.

"Doesn't it bother you that I'm younger than you? That I'm..." You started, but he interrupted you.

''This is still... a contentious issue. Of course, it bothers me, but... I can't do much about it. For now, let's say that yes, I do love you back but... don't expect anything... more from me. Do you understand what I mean?"

You immediately felt your cheeks become hot. You knew exactly what he wanted to say. But as soon as you thought about it, you took a step back but you only managed to hit the wall with your back.

"I... I would never even think of... no! Of course. No no!"

"Good." He replied embarrassed.'' At least in this matter, we agree."

''But... does that mean that... you and I... that we are..."

''Together?'' You nodded. ''Y-yes... I suppose you could say that..."

You smiled and when you were about to hug him, something caught your attention.

Someone knocked on the door.
