Leaving the Headmaster's office felt like stepping off a cliff. What had you just done? Private lessons with THE All Might? Are you out of your mind?! You groaned internally, pacing back and forth just outside the door, your heart racing at the thought of what lay ahead. How on earth were you supposed to learn how to focus when you could barely think straight in his presence? You shook your head vigorously, trying to pull yourself back to reality. An entirely different issue loomed ahead.

The storm.

Instead of calming down, the storm was intensifying. Thunder boomed like a furious drum, shaking the air around you with its fierce presence. It was as if the clouds were impatiently awaiting the moment to strike, and you couldn't shake the feeling that it was all aimed directly at you. You glanced out the window, hoping for a break in the clouds, but nothing of the sort was happening. You just had a sinking feeling it was going to last until evening, wrapping the whole school in gloom.

You hesitated at the school's exit, watching the sky darken as flashes of lightning illuminated the landscape. With a resigned sigh, you pulled out your phone, preparing for the argument you knew was coming with your mother. You didn't even need to speculate about what she would say; you could almost hear her voice in your head already. Dialing her number, you took a deep breath, steeling yourself for the verbal onslaught.

"Mom? Could you come get me? There's a storm out here—"

"Of course there is! I'm not blind! You were supposed to leave school before it started! And don't even try to make stupid excuses! You know you're always getting into trouble! (Y/N), why do you have to be so irresponsible? One day, all my hair will fall out because of you! So much stress, and for what?" She yelled, the volume of her voice making you wince and instinctively pull the phone away from your ear. "Just wait for me! Don't you even dare move from that spot! I'll be right there!"

You opened your mouth to reply, to explain that you'd waited as long as you could, but before you could get a word out, she hung up, leaving you speechless. Wonderful... Just wonderful.

You leaned against the wall, feeling your head spin as you took in everything. You were still contemplating how best to phrase your next apology when suddenly, All Might appeared behind you like some kind of a ghost. His booming voice made you jump, sending your heart racing again.

"You still here, (L/N)-san?" he asked, concern flickering in his eyes.

"S-storm. I don't want to get struck by lightning," you admitted, glancing away to hide your embarrassment.

"Oh? I don't think it works like that, (Y/N)-san. Lightning doesn't just strike people who are outside. You'd have to be pretty unlucky for that to happen," he pointed out, crossing his arms over his chest.

You couldn't help but shoot him a glare. Of course he didn't understand! You didn't exactly have a typical relationship with storms. You shook your head, trying to brush off his comments, even as you felt your cheeks heat up.

"If there's anything else that makes you afraid to leave the school grounds, you should—"

You cut him off quickly, shaking your head vigorously, your hands lifting defensively in front of you. As your face turned crimson, you were desperate to hide it behind your hair.

"It's nothing! Really! When I said struck by lightning, I meant it in a—" You fumbled, stuttering as you tried to clarify. "I-it's really weird, but my body actually... kind of... attracts it. Electric shocks make me lose control over my Quirk completely. Anything can happen..."

You looked up, gauging his reaction. The look on his face turned serious, and he wrapped his arms around himself, a thoughtful expression replacing his usual cheerful demeanor.
