Dawn Pov.
I was watching my favorite show, dragon ball z, until Ray turned the channel.
"I was watching that Ray."
"Now you're not." I got up and went to my mom's room.
"Ma, Ray turned the channel."
"And?"
"I was watching my show." I whined.
"Go to your room and watch your show."
"But--
"Dawn, don't make me say it again." I huffed and stomped out of her room. She's always takes his side for some reason.
When I was going up to my room, I saw him smirk which made me roll my eyes. I hate him. He's always getting his way which is unfair. I tried talking to my mama about it but she always brushes it off and say I'm "over-reacting".
I continued to watch my show until I got a notification on my phone. It was a friend of mine from school, she always textin me.
Sarah😊: Hey Dawn
Me: Hey Sarah
Sarah😊: What are you doing Dawn?
Me: Watching Tv. Bye Sarah.
Sarah😊: Bye Dawn.
Sarah and I are good friends. She has a boyfriend named Peter. They like each other a lot. Sometimes I wish I had a boyfriend. We'd watch Tv together, draw together, maybe even hold hands.
If I ever do get a boyfriend, I'd hope he wouldn't be like Ray. Then I would have to break up with him.

It was 12:56 in the morning and I was just arriving in our driveway. Amber or whatever her name is lives far from my house and it took me forever to find where she lived.
I opened the door slowly trying not to make any noice and crept into the living room only to see my mom up waiting for me.
"Where you been?"
"Over Trey house."
"This late?" She asked looking at the clock.
"I lost track of time."
"Don't let it happen again. Go to sleep."
"Ight. Goodnight." I gave her a hug and went upstairs feeling like a savage.

Sarah and I were talking until Ms. Tina clapped her hands. Whenever she claps her hands, that means she wants attention.
"Class, there are some students here to be your friends! Be nice, I'll call your names out to your new friend." She grabbed a clipboard.
"Who you wanna be friends with?" Sarah asked.
"I don't know."
"Sarah, you'll be with Quincy." She pointed to the boy.
"Bye Dawn." She waved and jogged over to the boy.
It took Ms. Tina A LONG TIME to get to me.
"Dawn, you'll be with Chris." I looked at the boy she pointed to and thought I was staring at an Angel.
"C'mon Dawn." I got up and walked over to the boy.
"Wassup." He said staring at his phone.
"Hey, my name is Dawn."
"Cool."
"What's your name?" I asked.
"Chris."
"That's a cool name, my uncle's name is Chris."
"Oh really?" He was still staring in his phone which kinda bothered me.
"So...wanna play a game?"
"Not really. I'm not a gamer."
"Oh...well what's your favorite color?" I asked, he kinda looked irritated. I don't why, maybe it's because of his phone.
"Its red."
"Mine is pink. Ya know it would probably be better if you faced me." He looked up at me.
"What?"
"You seem irritated. It would probably be best if you took your eyes off your phone so you could focus on one thing."
"And what would that thing be?"
"Me!" I raised my arms and smiled.
"Um, no. I'm playin 2k on my phone and I'm being distracted."
"I thought you weren't a gamer?"
"Don't you have someone else to bother? I'm tryna focus." He said
"I'm not trying to bother...so what games do you like?"
"Games I can play by myself."
"Oh. One player games?" I asked.
"Yes, that's what you call it."
"I like two player games. Me and my friend Sarah play two player games all the time. She always loses cause I'm a very good player. I usually call her a sore loser whenever she whines about it. Are you a-- "
"Hey wanna play a game?"
"I love games! What's it called?"
"It's hide and seek. I'll count and you go hide." He said.
"I love this game!" I ran off as he counted. I'm the best hider when it comes to this game! No one ever finds me.
Chris Pov.
That girl talk way too much. Getting her to "hide" from me gave me spare time to go in the hallway and talk to Amber...or Autumn.
20 minutes later.
I wonder if she's still hiding, it's been a while since I've been in the classroom. I went ahead and walked in the classroom, she was still no where to be found.
Then I heard a little chuckle that sounded familiar. I hoped and prayed it wasn't that aggravating girl, she talks so much.
I turned around and saw her hiding behind the door. She started to laugh like a child and came from behind the door.
"You couldn't find me, now it's your turn to hide." She said.
"I don't wanna play any more." I sat down and got on my phone.
"Are you being a sore loser?"
"No."
"Well, we can play--
"I don't wanna play anything else man." I said tryna concetrate on what I was doing.
"Oh...well wanna--
"No."
"You didn't let me finish my sentence." I sighed and continued to play the game on my phone. I'm honestly here for my grade, nothing else.
She walked away finally leaving me alone. It's only the first day and I already hate being in this class.
