Chris Pov.
"My mama said she doesn't like that you're my boyfriend." Dawn said as we put puzzle pieces together.
"Why not?"
"She thinks you're a bad influence."
"I'm not a bad influence...you just shouldn't do the things I do or you do them without me." I said.

"Mama, I'm home." I called walking through the living room.
"Dawn, come to my room." I went to her room and saw the last two people I wanted to see.
"Hey Dawn." Damon said.
"Why are they here?"
"Damon wamted to apologize for what he did."
"Okay, apology accepted. Get out." I said.
"Dawn, stop being mean and set the table for our guests."
Instead of doing what she told me to do, I went upstairs and got in bed. I was tired and didn't feel like dealing with him and his mother tonight.
"Dawn, come down here and eat." My mom called.
ºººººººººº"So Dawn, how's school?" His mom asked.
"Fine."
"Damon was back for a week now."
"I noticed." I said not wanting to make eye contact with her.
"Oo, they start having those play dates again and sleep overs."
"Maybe Dawn can be my special lady again." Damon said.
"No. I'm going to my room." I threw my plate away and went to my room.
I wanted to call Chris but I hate being a bother. Sometimes I feel like I am a bother cause I always ask to hang with him after school. That's what I think a couple should do but I can't be sure cause this is the first serious relationship I've been in.
Before I could get started on anything, I heard a knock on my window.
"Who is it?" I asked smiling.
"Your boyfriend."
"Paul?"
I then heard the window slide open as he appeared in front of my bed.
"Who's Paul?"
"I was kidding, you're the only boyfriend in my life."
"Better be." He said as he lifted me off my bed.
"I wanna show you something."
"Like what?"
"You have to come over to see it." He said.
"Okay." I climbed out the window and waited for him to get the board so we could walk to his patio.
"C'mon." He pulled me in his room and grabbed something as I sat on his bed.
"Ready?"
"Yup." He gave me a rectangular black box.
"The box is really pretty."
"Open it silly." He chuckled. I did so and saw a necklace inside shaped like a heart.
"It's pretty!"
"Open the heart."
I opened it and inside was picture we took together.
"Chris, how'd you do this?"
