You were out with one of your friends having a girls day. You had just sat down at a restaurant for some lunch. Looking down at your phone you were a bit sad to see that your boyfriend Ashton hasn't texted you back. "Uh Faith," your friend says grabbing your attention. "Isn't that Ashton?" she points behind you. Turning around you find that it is in fact Ashton, but he is holding hands with another girl. Your heart drops and you feel tears prick your eyes. Once they were seated you stood up and marched over to the table. Ashton looked at you and his eyes widen.
"Faith, I uh what are you doing here?"
"I think I should be the one asking you that. Actually, save your excuse. We're done." And with that you rush out of the restaurant, your friend following close behind. Once you finally made it back to your house you let it out. You cried for what seemed like forever. You loved him, though you never had the chance to tell him that.
It's been a few weeks since you left Ashton, and you were starting to feel better. Your friend had set you up with her cousin, and he was taking you out to dinner tonight. You made sure your brown hair was perfect and that your outfit was cute. He ended up taking you to an Italian restaurant. You hit it off well, and the hole Ashton left in your heart was starting to fill again. "Wanna walk around for a bit?" he asked. You agreed and laced your finger through his. Winding your way around town you bump into someone familiar. He was walking towards you with his bandmates.
"Faith?" Ashton's eyes looked hurt as he looked between you and your date.
"Hey, Ashton. This is my date, Jake." You introduce them. Ashton stayed quiet but shot him a dirty look.
"Can we talk for a second?" You sighed and told Jake it would be just a second.
"What? You can't honestly tell me you're jealous?!" once again he stayed silent. "Ashton, you cheated on me! You broke my heart!"
"I know. And I hate myself everyday for hurting the girl I love!"
"Yo-you love me?"
"Yes. So much. I just panicked that I was falling too fast and too hard and that you wouldn't catch me. But I really do love you."
"I love you too, Ash." You smile at him.
"So are you going to tell that guy or should I?" You giggle and take his hand. Walking back to the group to break the news to Jake that it wasn't going to work.
