You knew that your favorite band, 5 Seconds of Summer, were in town on tour with One Direction. Unfortunatly you didn't have tickets, or have any clue where they could be to try and meet them. So needless to say you were bummed. "Let's go shopping. A little retail therapy will help get your mind off it!" Your friend suggests. Accepting her offer you get ready. Nothing too fancy, but you didn't dress like a slob either. A nice balance in between. At the mall you hit all your favorite stores, finding a few things.
"I'm starved! Let's go eat!" You pull your friend towards the food court. In line at Panda Express you order and follow your friend to a table.
"Hey Kennedy? Isn't that that band you like over there?" She points to a group of boys at a table not too far away. Your heart stopped. She was right. She must have recognized them from all the pictures on your phone. Looking towards them you catch Ashton staring right at you. He blushes and looks back down at his food. You try and focus back on your food, glancing over at the boys every so often. They were pestering Ash about something and soon he was standing up and making his way to you.
"Um hi." He says with a giggle. "I'm Ashton."
"I know." You blurt out before you can stop yourself. "I mean, hi. I'm Kennedy."
"I uh just thought you were pretty and wanted to talk to you." You blush uncontrollably and mutter a thanks. "Um since you know us do you have tickets for tomorrow night?"
"Unfortunaly no."
"Well how about we grab dinner tomorrow and you can come backstage?"
"That sounds perfect." After exchanging numbers he waves goodbye and sits back down with the boys.
"Holy crap, Kennedy! That just happened!" You friend exclaims when he's gone. You couldn't believe it either.
