You and your best friend Michael are currently out shopping. You love spending time with him as it's becoming harder and harder with his growing fame. "How does this look?" You come out of the dressing room with a short red dress on. In a few weeks it was your schools dance, and you needed a dress.
"Yea, it looks fine." He doesn't even bother to look up from his phone.
"Michael!" you whine, forcing him to look up at you. His green eyes widen as he takes you in.
"I uh, yea. It's good. Get that one." He stammers out. Back in the dressing room you blush like crazy. You've had a crush on Michael for a while now, but you could never tell him that. You change back into your normal clothes and walk to the counter to purchase the dress. Michael is sticking oddly close to your body. Outside the store a few girls have gathered to try and meet him. You give him a look that says 'go ahead meet them.' You know how much meeting fans means to him. Standing behind him you watch the gorgeous girls take selfies with him.
"Is that your girlfriend Mikey?" one of the asks pointing at you.
"Um, no." He answers nervously. "That's my best friend Noelis." You smile politley at the girl, though Michael's words hurt.
"I had a fun day. I'm really glad you found a dress!" Michael says as he drops you off at home.
"It was. Thanks, Michael." You avoide eye contact and hustle out of his car.
"Noelis, wait!" he follows you to the door. "Are you upset?"
"No," you lie. His eyes search yours and you sigh in defeat. "Yes. You friendzoned me to that girl. I love you Michael. I have for a while, but clearly you don't feel the same so lets-" his lips find yours stopping your next words.
"But I do feel the same," he says breathless after the kiss. "I love you."
