Little blurbs based on their song Disconnected (currently my fav) thought it was about time i wrote one based on their own song lol xo -Rachel
Calum: I like the summer rain, I like the sounds you make.
We put the world away, we get so disconnected.
The heavy rain pounded on the window just beside where they were laying. He placed soft kisses over her face and neck, causing her to softly giggle. "I like the sounds you make," he hums in her ear. His hot breath tickling her neck. They had been cuddled up on the couch like that for half the day now, with no TV, music, phones any connection to the outside world. In their own little bubble everything was perfect. "Let's go play in the rain." He stood up and took her by the hand, leading her out their front door and into the yard. "Babe, this is insane!" She laughs as he begins to dance around, his hair flatening and sticking to his forehead. "I like the summer rain!" He picks her up, spins her around before placing her gently back on her feet and kissing her in the pouring rain.
Ashton: Hands around my waist, you're counting up the hills across the sheets.
And I'm a falling star, a glimmer lighting up the crowded streets.
He holds her close to his bare body, only a white sheet covering the both of them. She plays with the thin material, watching it make a hill before falling while he hums a tune softly in her ear. Just back from tour, she wasn't letting him out of that bed for a while. He didn't mind, at the moment he didn't want to be anywhere else. Rolling to her side to face him; staring up into a pair of impossibly green eyes, that seemed to glimmer. "Your eyes could light up a crowded stree." She mumbles to him, thinking out loud. A low chuckle emits from his pink slighlty swollen from kisses lips, resonating in his chest. There they would stay disconnected from the world.
Luke: You are my get away, You are my favorite place.
She was unhappy, he could tell. Everything was starting to take a toll on her. The stress of school, him always being gone, and the hate. "Babe, let's just go somewhere." Luke wraps his long arms around her torso, towering over her and resting his chin on her head. She closed her eyes and pictured it: the two of them. Far away from anything and anyone. It was bliss, she decided, to be disconnected. "Ok." She thought for a second. "Let's go to a deserted island," she half jokes. Luke kisses her cheek. "I don't care where we go as long as I'm with you. You are my favorite place in the world. Wherever you are is my get away."
Michael: I admit I'm a bit of a victim in the worldwide system too.
But I find my sweet escape with you.
"Michael," her voice carrying from the living room to the den where he was playing video games, and constantly on his phone. "Babe, you literally just got home. Can we please spend some time together with no distractions?" She complains when his body came around the corner into view. "You're like addicted to that thing!" He had already checked his phone twice since standing there. "I am not!" he protested, but backed down when she raised her eyebrows. "Fine. I guess I am a bit of a victim of the syste. Tonight we are staying in on the couch. No phones, no music, no x-box." He saunters over to the couch to join her, laying down so that she can rest her head on his chest.
