After storming out of the house. I drove to the first place I could think of. Ryan's place.

I was now at his door about to knock. I raised my hand and knocked on the door.

A few moments later Ryan opened the door, looking all fresh.

"Melissa?" He frowned, probably surprised at the unexpected visit.

"Hey Ryan," I said softly.

"What's wrong?" He asked while opening the door wider, allowing me to walk in, "Why do you look upset? Was it Bryan? What did he do?"

It's funny how he knew that Bryan was the cause of me being upset.

I looked into his eyes and stuttered, "B-Bryan......h-he...he cheated on me," I let all the tears come out. I probably looked really ugly right now but I didn't care, I had to let it out.

"Melissa," Ryan said, coming towards me and wrapping me in a hug. He put his arms around me and I put mine around him.

"Ryan, he told her he would leave me and then she could move in with him. He was kicking me out," I cried.

"I told you he wasn't a good kid," he muttered loud enough for me to hear.

"I'm sorry," I cried out as he ran his hands through my hair.

"Why are you apologising?"

I pulled away from the hug and looked at him, "I should've listened to you, but I was stupid and I got myself involved with a guy who I knew would end up hurting me."

He sighed, "Don't apologize to me."

Looking into his eyes I realized that he was the guy for me all this time. I realized that I had feelings for Ryan.

I was into him but I could never admit it to myself, but now I just did.

I slowly leaned in towards him. He looked down at my lips and he started leaning in too.

I planted my lips on him and he thankfully kissed me back. He brought me closer to him until I was pressed against him completely. My hands roamed in his hair while his were fixed on my waist.

I pulled away, breathless, I spoke, "I like you Ryan."

He didn't say anything. He pulled away from me completely, leaving me cold. I missed his touch, I wanted him to be close to me.

He looked down on the floor, "Say something," I said.

He looked into my eyes, "I...Melissa. You need to think about this. You just had a break up," he said to me.

"Y-You don't like me?" I shamingly said. I was nothing but embarrassed right now, I just confessed something and he reacted like that?

"No, it's not that. Melissa, maybe you're just saying things, maybe because you want to get over him as quickly as possible. Maybe you're using me as a distraction."

I shook my head, "Ryan, no. That's not true, I like you. I've liked you for a while but I could never admit it to myself. I like you a lot," I walked towards him.

His eyes showed sympathy. But there was a flash of anger in his eyes.

"You really like me?" He raised his eyebrows and I nodded, "Then prove it."

Without saying another word to him I kissed him. Slowly and passionately.

My fingers traced his jaw as I kissed him. He pulled me closer to him until my chest was pressed up against his, I don't think we could be any closer now.

I pulled away and my finger traced his bottom lip.

"Did that prove it to you?"
